It annoys me when they wait a long time or even never explain that Kevin has practically hand raised/worked with almost all of them since they were cubs. People just coming in think that it's just a guy meeting adult lions and working with them with his 'whispering'. Years of work go into those early stage to form the bond of fellow lion/mother. Of course the footage of them interacting is always excellent.

Rosanna Lantigua he mentioned in one of his videos most of the time where animal human relationship end badly there’s something more darker going on behind the scene like trying to forcibly subdue the lion and it’s not hard to force lions into submission as seen in circuses. In his case, he very much treat lions with respect and understanding and if he was killed by one of his lions he said it would be 100% his fault because he either ignored their warning or didn’t bother to read them as deeply as he should have

It's unlikely actually most real cats are adapted to eating much smaller pray than themselves, if some mutant house cat grew to be like 200lbs it would still not be interested in eating a human. Maybe a human baby but nothing much bigger than that. Only the panthers regularly kill prey of comparable size to themselves, and even they generally have distinct preferences in their diet and rarely eat humans, they have a good idea of which prey are worth their time based on how hard they are to catch and kill and how much meat they've got, usually when they kill people it's a territorial thing and they don't actually eat them afterwards.

Gabby is too playful to be gentle with Kevin unfortunately and she does not seem to be aware that Kevin’s physique cannot handle her full size and weight. Meg, in a pride with her sister Amy, on the other hand is always gentle with Kevin, that is why Kevin can even go swimming with Meg❣️🐾🦁

You can make almost any animal compliant to simple tasks either through respect or through fear, and if I for some reason interfered with a big cats life it would be through mutual respect. Having said that I would not bother putting a lead on a tiger or lion, holding back a mastiff is hard enough

Francesco Brosolo Not necessarily because they are ill... some tigers in India were found to be fully healthy and functional and picked off farmers because they are very easy to take down. Lions wouldn't be too different. Big cats are all potentially very dangerous and being away from humans can actually make them more dangerous because they might not respect the dangers people possess. Just saying don't assume you are safe because you are minding your own business, it leaves you open to being ambushed!

Kevin has created a bond of trust with his lions. They have learned to trust each other. He has raised many of these lions from little cubs, and they are bonded to each other. No, a lion cannot be tamed, but it's possible to socialize these lions.
