KRudd is ADORABLE!!! HOW can anyone vote against this guy! I mean, not only is he warm and funny and not prim and propper like other stuffed suits, he and his government gave us the apology, he SAVED US FROM THE GFC!!! He gave us Disability insurance, he is giving millions extra for public schools, more medications have been listed on the PBS - Ok, WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG with people who want to reject all of this? I think Rudd went on the show was to clear up the whole thing with the email and ute. Going on Rove was effective as he could communicate with the majority of Australians that don't watch boring news shows. The job of a PM also requires communication between him and the country and i think it is great he has the opportunity to communicate his ideas to Australians of all back rounds and ages. I am just a teenager but i find it cool how I can learn about Aus politics while watching Rove.

Rove was not sacked; Network 10 pretty much begged him to stay on, because his show was still top of the ratings in his timeslot at the time we quit, but it seems his grief over Belinda hadn't completely disappeared. Not that I can blame the poor Bastard, especially since people couldn't get off his arse about moving on with his life.

He talks about focusing on the real issues. I haven't seen a prime minister in my life who's focused on the real issues yet. The real issue? Personally I think the real issue is, is the voice of the people being effectively communicated through our local representives, and how can it be communicated more effectively in the future. If anything is important, it's the political process itself! and making sure it's running smoothly. Right now I think it's clear it isn't.

@Salemaniac1. It's because of the fierce and libelous propaganda by the Murdoch press. Something not that dissimilar happened when Whitlam was dismissed -- Murdoch was behind that too, because the Australian government at the time was planning to nationalise the nation's resources: this is also why we now have a two tier health system, instead of the original Medibank system covering everyone. Rudd's asylum seeker policy totally sucked, but he's wasn't the evil monster he's made out to have been. The reason why Labour is going from bad to worse these days is because of the Right faction members and the 'Faceless Men' -- so called 'Power Brokers' getting their mates jobs and snapping up real estate with foreknowledge of mining deals in the pipeline.

You'll see no arguments from me about the NSW Liberals... however I'd call them more liberal than conservative. Meaning more centralised than rightwing. But that's the thing... If you side with the LNP your morals have to be conservative. Too liberal and even your own party will look at you as either corrupt, or a failure to represent the LNP's core values. Many LNP members have started accusing Abbott of such with his abolishment of the changes to the racial act because its not in favour of a conservative value of right to free speech. Wheras in the ALP you have to be a liberalist-socialist. Too liberal like Rudd and the union will pull strings to have you kicked out. Too socialist like the Greens and people will stop listening to you
