Kevin Samuels saved me when other experienced and older men told me, "hey young man you waited a bit late for marriage, all the women your age have kids, you might have to settle." KS said, "Never settle for a single mother if you don't have kids your. It's not fair to you. You'll never be #1 to that woman. Baby comes first, them mama, and depending on the nature of the relationship between baby mama and baby daddy YOU might be #4. But you'll be expected to pay up front. " KS saved me from a bad decision I almost made.

There's this older lady on KZbin her name is Fumi She's African, a former model, and she basically says the things that Kevin Samuels says but she delivers it with love. She has a lot of women followers of all races and ages. Why? Because women are always on a self-help journey. Women are always looking to improve. R.I.P. to the knowledgeable and wise Kevin Samuels. He had a profound impact on the entire black community and shined a light on the conditions of relationships in our community. He was fair and balanced. He cared about black folks getting married and holding both men and women accountable. Man after the first dude simping in the first part of the clip, I did not want to watch the rest. My highly educated wife (college professor) wasn’t phased by anything KS said. But that is also why I love her so much. She can deal with brutal honesty that the truth requires sometimes. But she also know that we i compliment her on anything it is the truth and she fully embrace and accept it. And she is the rarity that isn’t vain or materialistic. Operating in a world were the economic conditions make harder for black men, makes having vain and materialistic mates of our race conflicting aspects that don’t build strong families.
