This oscar should be retroactively taken away and given to Richard Farnsworth, considering he was dying from cancer and in so much pain in The Straight Story but delivered an incredible performance, the fact he later shot himself shortly after the oscar ceremony because of his pain and suffering is so tragic. jogodoido1 ...SO TRUE , I still remember that day, I was so angry for the big mistake of handing the trophy for the wrong actor. Denzel Wasington was MAGNIFICENT, in The Hurricane !! He definitely worth it, not just the Gloden Glob but also the Oscar ! Training day...wasn't so good as The Hurricane. Also, Kevin Spacy was better by far, in Usual Suspects or The Insider not in American Beauty.

Except he hasn't raped anyone. From what I've read, the most he's been accused of is groping people, which, while inappropriate and wrong, is nowhere near the same as rape. If you're referring to the Rapp incident, all Kevin supposedly did was slump on top of him in a drunken haze. Rapp pushed him off, said no and left. Hardly assault.
