Oh man, this live version is ridiculously good with Kevin keeping it in the pocket. It is so rare to have live shows sound as good or better than the album version. Usually I find... this is always due to the drummer being able to really keep the pace and groove intact. Fantastic version.

My least favorite thing about live death metal is how so many bands speed the songs up literally 2x or even 2.5x sometimes. And it completely destroys the flow and musicality of it, this is a great example of how not to do that. I’m fine speeding some stuff up live obviously but in Death metal bands just go way overboard with it to the point of it being ridiculous. This is an awesome performance that maintains the musicality of the record

@@big_hat_logan totally agree. I really lost desire to see Napalm Death after Mick Harris wasn't in the band because you can tell in Live Corruption how he keeps everything paced nicely. For whatever reason though, I have noticed Napalm Death live shows starting getting more paced evenly in the last few years to where I want to see ND live again. But yes, a live show speed run through that kills the feel is no fun.

Sounds like his kick drums are triggered, but he's not relying on them, and his drums sound better for it, IMO. Not to mention, he's getting some serious air between stick and snare on those blast beats, and that's pretty legit! Nicely done!

Such a beast. So many people underrated Talley during his time in Suffocation, but fun fact he is the only Suffocation drummer to play this song using one-footed hammer blasts. All the others use two feet, even the original drummer Doug Bohn. Talley is such a monster lol.
