I am probably one of the most dedicated bass angles who isnt involved in tournaments...if im not workin,im out there! The spinnerbait is an iconic, traditional bait that seems to work for anyone who touches it except me. I have absolute confidence in an inline rooster tail (great for bass).

Years ago I watched some of his videos on spinner bait fishing. I started using what he preached and I finally catch bass on spinner baits. Been making my own for years now and there are 4 colors I use and only one size, 1/4 oz.

The truest thing in this video is to always be using a trailer hook. I can't understand why you wouldn't. And once you've caught a bass on the trailer, you always will.

@Zoso since I said that I bought a Megastrike Big Bass spinnerbait with the swing head design and I prefer it without a trailer hook. They recommend not to use one on the package.

Only time a trailer hook may be necessary is if you're burning it. Otherwise you don't need one if you use a swimbait as a trailer...
