Raiders and Bears fans should be VERY HAPPY. I think Cooper will be a better ALL-AROUND receiver, but White will be a dominant go-up-and-get-it home run threat for sure, they are both total STUDS.

Everyone is seeming to forget the level of competition each of the receivers played against this season. Amari made Hargraves who will more than likely be a first round draft pick next year look like a boy in the Florida game. Kevin white was held back by a seventh rounder. White has an amazing highlight real; but is that saying something for the competition he played against? You have to ask yourself too; was those spectacular catches he made because he cant separate from defenders like Amari because his route running is ok at best. In closing Amari was the best receiver in the NCAA while playing in the SEC against defenses White hasn't seen week in and week out.

Even though White had the faster 40 time, I believe Cooper is faster, as displayed here. I rather have a Wideout that can hit his boosters in the middle of the route than one who is explosive only at the beginning. Plus, have you seen Cooper's shakes, jukes and cuts? They are scary. Full separation by the end of the route.

Let's see, 3 games into the season...Kevin White: out. Injury has kept White on the sideline so we really can't say anything about him.Amari Cooper: 20 REC, 290 YDS, 1 TDAC wasn't burning up the NFL in week 1 vs the Bengals, had a pedestrian day. Week 2 AC torched Jimmy Smith for a TD, making his way to the end zone while seemingly gliding at 20mph. This was followed up by going to the Browns and making Pro Bowl CB Joe Haden his personal bitch. Over 100 yards before half time. AC is a YAC machine. I never watched AC in college, because, well, I don't watch college. What I have seen in preseason and 3 weeks of NFL play is the beginning of an illustrious career, possibly (probably) one of the greatest WRs to play the game. Here's why: AC is fast, deceptively fast, and agile; he doesn't look big but at 211lbs/6'1 he's bigger than the average receiver, and he's strong... he won't go down to arm tackles or getting clipped like most WRs; his route running is amazing, his knowledge is incredible, especially for a rookie; his confidence is unshakable, most rookies walk on eggshells, AC walks on water. My RAIDERS got the best WR in the draft, not just a complete player, but through the roof in all phases of the game. I've heard it said White has a higher roof... when he gets there he'll see AC looking down at him with a smile.

I think White will be one of those flashy recievers who will just have those games where he gets insane catches and deep balls, but Cooper is an all around type who will get pure solid grabs and yards after catch all day. I dunno.. we'll see... Good luck to both of them

Cooper. You don't pick a one year wonder from a weak conference over a guy who produced every time he stepped on the field in the toughest conference in college. They will probably both be good WRs in the pros - but Amari is a once in a decade player whereas you can pick up a Kevin White-type player every other year in the draft. JMHO... of course.

+Roger That You're right though... But each conference usually has it's strengths in certain positional players. WR coming out of the SEC are good for the most part. But SEC QB's are usually don't make it in the NFL. Kinda like Big 10 QBs. I think QBs coming from the PAC-12 are better, and RB coming from the SEC usually are great too.

There you go, they're both pretty evenly match. Although I favor Cooper route running more but White is also pretty good at the contestant match up. You can't go wrong with either one. They're both like Magic and Bird. They both can be successful in the NFL at an elite level.

CHENOTV lol no his explosion into the route was not lazy. You realize they only ran 4 yards before they had to cut? Also because White is taller, he has a higher center of gravity so you're not going to go really fast for only 4 yards and expect to make a good cut. He's going to have to either slow down at the end or start off not as explosive as possible.
