I have had iPhones but never been a fan due to their restricted nature! Like windows - I strip it, and use Linux too - options - options! The home screen on IOS is dreadful they need to move with the times! Performance is great but over time the battery dies! Apple are like Intel - BIG monolithic processors - whereas with android more like the chiplet design - which is why my old S8 of over 2 years still has great battery life!

@MRsjovealek wrong on all counts. iPhone XR has worse battery life than the S10 (look up battery drain videos). Support for 5 years? Yeah until they start gimping your processor speed. Face ID? I'll take fingerprint sensor over Face ID. The XR also has an inferior cheap LCD screen with a fat notch to boot and massive bezels. No chin? S10 and Note 10 family have a smaller chin than the XR/11. Wireless charging? Come on dude, android phones have had this forever. More premium feel? Note 10 literally looks like its from the future vs the latest iPhones with their ancient design. Best cameras? Again, wrong. Pixel phones are known for having the best cameras. iPhone sucks. You're paying more for less. Enjoy being a cuck for Apple.

Really, you can sum it up like this iPhone 11: Much more powerful, better camera, will be supported much longer. If you like playing high end games, taking photos, enjoy ios and maybe plan to keep this device for awhile knowing you'll get the latest ios updates this is going to be great. Galaxy A51: Much lower price, better screen, customizable OS with more freedom and features, more starting storage. More modern design, headphone jack, micro SD slot. If you prefer the freedom of Android, want a better screen for content consumption, want to either buy the phone out of pocket or want lower monthly payments and value features like expandable storage and the headphone jack then the A51 is great. There is no " this is objectively better than the other". Obviously, the A51 excels at a lot of things but the iPhone 11 is going to slap it around when it comes to performance, camera and long term support which is something to keep in mind when questioning why the A51 provides more in other categories for less money.

The A51 is a good smartphone for the price but the iPhone 11 puts all of the Android flagships to shame when it comes to camera, performance and the overall quality of the smartphone, try heavy duty apps and games on the A51 like playing Fortnite at 60 FPS, export a 4k video and see the real difference, iPhone 11 costs more for a reason and never forget the 5 years of software updates and the resale value so yes iPhone 11 is on a whole other level.

The conversations here seem to be pretty one sided in favor of the A51, so hear me (an iPhone 11 user)’s perspective as I have heard yours. Yes, the A51, while being budget, has some fantastic features as far as screen, battery, and even cameras. The screen does look more modern with smaller bezels and a hole punch over the notch. However, these phones have a key difference that makes me pick iPhone: the user experience. I’m personally able to switch between iOS and most versions of Android easily for common tasks, but as far as usability, I simply find iOS a better experience. Be it the smooth iOS 15 Safari, the consistent iOS rather than varying Android, or just overall reliability with less risk of damaging your device’s software, I pick iPhone. Do I believe Apple could do better on having a budget phone, such as a 12 Mini being closer priced to the SE 2020? Yes, but at the same time, because Apple is the only platform for iOS and it is such a streamlined, smooth experience even without the major battery and 120Hz refresh of most modern Androids, it still maintains its beauty and functionality after several years. My old SE 2016 runs the same OS as my modern iPhone 11, and for that while knowing the fully capable Galaxy S9 is done with updates, I pick iOS.

The Samsung is certainly much more impressive, but I feel like he downplayed the iPhone's power advantage. The A13 is an absolute beast. But seriously, it's sad that Apple's design is so underwhelming. They used to be the champ of tech aesthetic, now their devices look markedly worse then most mid range phones.

I like the A51 but in favor of the Iphone 11, It will receive updates for years where Samsung is reluctant to upgrade their phones with Android after 1 upgrade usually. Making the Iphone 11 more appealing for long term use if you can get over the look of a 2017 style phone and the lower res screen. Either phone would be a good choice IMHO. I like the look of the A51 much better.. Thanks for the comparison Kevin! I just wish the A51 came unlocked for all carriers.. Great price also on the A51.

I had Samsung Galaxy j6, j7, A50. I threw those phones so hard and so many times. Nothing happened. All of the phones is still completely fine. My friend bought iphone 6 and after 10 days while walking on the streets with me he dropped his phone from his pocket and his screen broke. Apple charged his half the phone's cost. Samsung is strong Apple is fragile & costly

I am convinced that two year support on a Samsung device would be better than Apple’s “five year” updates, since a) its Android so I can just update to an open source version after support ends, and b) I am convinced Apple slows down their older devices with each device since each one I’ve owned to date has become unusably slow after 2-4 years

Once more an excellent video, both entertaining and informative. After watching this video if I was looking to buy one of the phones I would probably go with the A51 and save the money but still get wonderful features. I mean after all when you're using the phone how often do you have somebody standing beside you making comparisons? Sometimes I even watch your videos comparing phones I have no intention of buying but I learned technical terminology and other things that helped me day-to-day with my own phone ns21 Ultra. Of course I watch your videos on that as well LOL!

I bought an A50 a few weeks ago and they sold me a phone with a faulty camera. Literally the next week bestbuy dropped the note 10 down to 750 so I just upgraded. I absolutely love the 4k camera its absolutely fantastic for my work.

If you think the galaxy a51 is competition for the iPhone 11 then think again. There’s no comparison. I like both phones but make no mistake the iPhone 11 is a far more advanced phone in areas that matter to a smartphone user. Budget and mid range phones have improved greatly but there is still a huge gap between mid rangers and flagship phones. iPhone 11 is most definitely a flagship and hence it’s price is justified. What many don’t realise is both these phones actually cost the user roughly the same over their lifespan as iPhones hold their value far longer and come the time to upgrade you get a substantial amount back when you sell or trade your old iphone in compared to getting next to nothing for a midrange device like the a51 which has very little resale value.

hunter Fenix67b But iPhones are better than Android phones in terms of value and operating system. For example I still use an iPhone 6s which came out in 2016. It runs perfectly smooth. It has the latest iOS 13 version. No issues at all and I could still use it at least 1 year. Pretty solid for a 4 year old phone. Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy S7 was also released in 2016 and the latest Android Version supported is Android 8 which is like 2 years old. LOL And that’s why Android is such a joke. You buy a phone and you only get like 2 years of OS updates on average. When I buy a phone, I’d like to keep it until it’s broken or too slow. I probably can do it with an android phone if I’m fine with having a 3 year old Android Version on my phone and unoptimized software for my hardware. Well nah thanks. By the way. When it comes to tablets iOS is also way superior than Android. Take students for example who want to take notes. The best notetaking apps are only on iOS such as notability or Good Notes. Are there actually any current Android Tablets other than Samsung Tab S6 (which btw. is more expensive than the iPad Air with Apple pencil and performs worse because the A12 chip in the iPad is faster than the Snapdragon 800 something and android). Speaking of iPhones and iPads. The ecosystem between those is way better than between android devices and it has better functions such as Airdrop, Sidecar etc. So if I was to decide between a 1 year old iPhone XR for like $600 and one of the latest Android phones (probably over $600), i would definitely go with the iPhone. Because I get so much more for my money. Edit: I do agree that iOS is not as customizable as android and that Apple itself is super greedy when it comes to Flagship phone, MacBook prices. But I think you get more for your money when you don’t buy the latest devices. Because then the prices are very competitive and the devices itself last longer in my opinion due to hardware-software optimization etc..

@@kimjeyong2474 most of android phones are below 600$ android has more apps than ios that you can install and you can get 6 android phones for that price and even s7 still uprades the apps after 2-3years of software update and snapdragon 800 is not new or the best cpu and there are qndroid phones of these days that run smoothier than any iphone so i would better save money for android phone and also many abdroid phones have better resolution and 600$ is considerned to be premium in android smartphone value but in iphone 11 is considerned to be "budget" and when it comes to the cameras you can compare midrange android phones to iphone 11 and at battery life android phones are wery great at that and also if you put battery life save mode then many phones will last more than iphone 11 pro max
