British and Scottish and some Ireland get wonky when Americans say their heritage is part of whatever country their family is from. Europeans must understand we LOVE being Americans. But he also want to celebrate where our heritage is from. SO if you hear an American say there are whatever percent blood. Be happy for them. Because it is really showing respect to your country. The only real blood Americans in America is Native Americans. 99.9% of every American is from somewhere else.

asking kevin (a comedian) about Scottish independence when it has absolutely nothing to do with comedy is a bit of an interesting angle, very odd of jonathan to ask that

But then you can argue nothing has anything to do with comedy. People make jokes about things that weren't necessarily meant to be funny all the time - that's a whole style of comedy in itself. If it's funny, it's related to comedy, and the bit he did here on the Scottish referendum was definitely pretty funny 🤷
