Yes, but writing you as a communication expert, you might want to imagine the remaining 60% of non verbal communication like a warm wrap of word that are constantly sounding in your head now. It might be all about tone & confidence, doesn't it?

I often hear the "I don't know" tactic being suggested & you'd be amazed at how many people DON'T take to the assigning negative role tactic. I guess it works for some, but I wouldn't go that route. Thanks for this video, Kevin.
@KevinHoganPsyD11 жыл бұрын
If the words themselves are 20% of the equation, the tonality is 10%. The credibility and authority of the individual in their field of expertise or niche as seen by the counterpart is about 40% of the solution. Every pattern that we've tested has a high failure rate for some situations (contexts) and for some people (credible vs. non-credible). Great comment.

Always assume that from a technique driven pov, everything can back fire. from a mentally strategic point of view to bring someone to a good place to do business with, go on a date, help your kids, it only comes down to voice intonation and how you follow up. good comment

Good stuff. However, the last part I think is way off. Instead of saying, "you're a smart investor' which sounds patronizing, one could say "I'm guessing you're a smart investor", "I'm guessing you're an informed shopper". "I'm guessing " is powerful and sounds genuine. (19yrs. insurance and another 19 yrs. mortgage business) Peace

Good one. You actually need to be pretty sure your subject is going to agree with you before using the "Only a dweeb/moron/idiot/fool/jerk/goofball would y." Because if you say that and your subject really disagrees with you, you've just insulted your subject.

Well Kevin, you certainly have nailed it, and I am sure you are quite proud of your accomplishment of being able to define our mental conditioning, but at what cost to humanity, when the sociopaths use your autorhythmic hypothesis to manipulate us every which way from hell. When government takes your weapons only the government has the weapons. Government is rarely compose of those you want to have the power of decision. Similarly the pathological personality will use whatever is at their disposal to harm and abuse others. This has never changed and will never change. However you and I can put ourselves on an even footing as far as sheer strength of tactic or strategy. But because our world is bigger and our picture more rich with ideology we gain ground lost to those who harm...

you've made quite a big mistake assuming all customers are alike. I have worked in retail for over 20 years now and I can and have sold to anyone. The key to getting someone to do what you want lies in their dominance and submissive tendancies. Once you know which they are then you know which approach to use. Your examples wouldnt work on a submissive person as they like to be told what to do where as the dominant ones you have to let them believe its their choice - two very different stratergies ... just sayin :)
@KevinHoganChannel11 жыл бұрын
All customers are not alike. No such assumption should ever be made. People respond to different stimuli in different contexts. Your comment on dominant/submissive is one continuum of consumer buying but there are many others. interdependent/dependent/independent is an example.
