Splatoon 2 is actually not easy to play while in handheld mode for some reason. It's better in either tabletop or docked. And of course the joy con grip is easier than having the two joy cons separate. But... How long does the battery last in each one?

I bought the PDP screen protector and I can confirm the thing is a piece of shit. There were actually scratches on my screen after I took it off to replace it with a glass one too! It's awful. I can't agree with the Joycon grip thing though, I think it's pretty good. It could be better but I used it constantly. go in your bathroom and run some hot water to get it nice and steamy inside for like 5-10 minutes......any dust or pet hair should be pushed down to the ground and you can then precisely place the tempered glass screen protector as long as you do it right and it will come out beautifully without crap sneaking onto the screen before you get the protector down

MrMaxMaximal, you can also partly lift up the screen protector and use tape to remove the hair. Stick the tape to the lower side of the protector and pull off the tape. The hair should now stick to the tape. Then gently put back the protector on the screen.

That is exactly what happened to me. I told my mom to not buy a screen protector as I was going to wait for a glass one, and she went to Walmart and bought that exact screen protector. It has tons of air bubbles and I don't think it it would even protect. Can anyone tell me how to remove it safely and without messing up my switch?

If there are any air bubbles near the edge of the Switch, you can use your nails to press up against it, and the screen should lift up. Also, next time, if you happen to use this same screen protector again, here's a way to put it on with minimal air bubbles: The screen protector is good as long as you don't have any dust on the screen or the adhering part. Try using a bit of weak clear packaging tape (or scotch tape) on the back of the adhesive part of the protector wherever you can see the dust, which is pretty easy to see. I'm using it right now, and it only has two to three air bubbles on the edges, and not the screen. The dust near the edges can be moved easily using the plastic card that comes with the protector. Just don't use the red cloth cleaner on the screen before you apply the protector though. It will leave red dust, making it even harder to put the thing on. I recommend using the wipe *after* you apply the protector, or just use some other wipe that was used a few times before, like the cloth used for cleaning glasses.

So for the joycon grip, I actually recommend you buy other grips. The one that comes with the system is all plastics and uncomfortable. I personally bought the Splatoon 2 one (with rubber grips) and it is a very comfortable and fun experience when using it

DO NOT BUY THE HYBRID COVER FROM POWERA. They brand it as a case that can convert into a stand and it comes with one of the screen protectors mentioned in this video. The switch doesn't even fit right in the case and the stand is a joke and does not prop the switch up. The screen protector left several giant air bubbles on my screen and by the time I tried to return the case and screen protector, Gamestop told me I couldn't return it because I had already used the screen protector. DON' GET SCREWED LIKE I DID.

I really like how the Xbox, PS4 and Switch all have different main colors. The Xbox has green, PS4 has blue and the Switch is red. Those 3 consoles are basically rivals so it's cool how they have their own color. This has nothing to do with this video but whatever.

I also don't understand the hate for the grip. I bought the switch thinking i'd have to find a way to use my DS4 with it or just buy a Pro controller down the line. 5 minutes with the grip and i was settled with it. It's not perfect but it's way more natural to me than using the joy-cons separately, as relaxing as that can sometimes be.

I don't understand the issue with the PDP Screen protector. I just give it to the guy at BEST Buy: Geek Squad and it works fine. Also the Joy-Con Grip is very comfortable IMO and Joy-Cons have died numerous times on me (You Scrub)

I love the joy con grip. It makes it so much more like a controller, and easier to use in all honesty. Between using the joycon on the switch, using them separately, and using the joy con grip, I think the joy con grip is far more comfortable to use.

I enjoy the joy con controller adapter. The original system boxed one. Not the different $15 joy con “grip” store buy one. That one is a lot different with some flaws in my opinion. Original Joy con controller adapter all day for marios and classics. Pro controller all day for ewer like tony hawk, rocket league, etc.

You have to make sure theres no dust and the screen is perfectly clean like super super clean . Even then you gotta make sure no dust lands on it while ur taking apart the screen protecting film even a few seconds is enough to get some dust to land on it so wiping and wiping the screen with a micro fiber cloth at an angle with light will help you see the dust . Trust me it's possible . Mine also has no bubbles and it's the pdp one.

In Japan - we often use our phones for chat - using line group call (similar to WhatsApp/Skype in the states or Kakaotalk if you're in Korea) - because not very one have headset for their PS4 / PC but everyone have Line in their smartphone - some more serious gamer do have proper mics/headset but for casuals like us its the norm Nintendo is certainly not helping with their upcoming voice chat system - bit I can see why it became an oversight

It made sense to me from the beginning why would they invest in voice chat when there are significantly better options that people are already using. In this day and age no one uses the default chat system for high level play. PC you have Skype/Ventrillo/Discord for mobile you have Skype/Discord/Line/Whats App and countless others. People also almost always have their smart phones too. The odds you have a switch and no smart phone are slim.
