When you read that part in the Light Novels, you would wish that everything in the book would be put on screen. To name 2 things in the books not in the movie, a squad graffiti a few walls that could not be destroyed and Tanya purposely kills a few secret police that tortured Visha’s family. Tanya also rigged a few traps on the dead bodies for Stalin’s council to be later attacked. The graffiti is written with a Mage Spell that can’t be cleaned off with regular cleaners. You either have to tear down the wall or use a mage to remove the magic ink. You later find out is that the graffiti glows in the dark and is much brighter than the local street lights.

Everybody watches the anime and thinks she's like 9 years old when she joins the military. Nah, that little b**** is 7 years old when she joins the military. The reason they can't seem to hit her when their shooting matters. Because she's all of 2 and a 1/2 feet tall. On top of that, she's dodging and weaving at about half the speed of those bullets she fires. That is a ferociously difficult target to hit. Especially when it comes in close and you literally can't move your eyes or your head fast enough to track it. In the anime, the books and the light novel. The only way anyone ever manages to hit her is because she's standing still or they use a bomb that covers the entire area. In short, if they wanna hit her with anything, they don't aim at her. They aim at everything in her vicinity for about 200 yd.

The light novels may be slow and dry at times but Tanya’s action is grander because of it. In the anime and manga it doesn’t show how Tanya is playing a long game where her biggest opponent is not Being X but ironically is history. She is fighting being X in a 5-D game of chess but Being X doesn’t really start to play until he is down to his actual pieces which are not human. Tanya is way more savage and gangster in the light novels, which is a shame because most people would not know. Also a lot more cursing and one liners.
