Meanwhile that world has no cyber-psychosis, no people dying left and right because they can’t afford healthcare, robots and people are kept mostly separate instead of having people installing augmentations that ultimately make them less human, and technology seems to be used for the good of the people. That’s a way better ending.

Since you like action/fighting anime, I recommend watching Ajin: Demi-Human, It’s kind of hard to access since it was removed from Netflix some time ago but I remember watching it a while back and it had a long-lasting impression on me. From the characters to the twists and plots, I’d give it a solid 8/10 because it didn't quite reach its full potential but it's not worth a watch. So, there's this idea that before the series even starts, there's this war-torn place where they find someone who just can't die for real. Every time die, they come back to life. Their body heals up, but they still feel every bit of the pain. Now, the show itself happens in the present day, and by that time, they've found 47 of these immortal OPS around the world. The show takes this simple idea of people being immortal and really digs into it, making you think. Like, there are some characters who have gotten so used to not being able to die that they can just "reset" themselves without even batting an eye. Then there are others who are still scared of dying, even though they've been through it more times than they can remember.
