Important note about total resitstance 7:48 When resistors are taken away in || (parallel) , then the total resistance increases. Therefore current decreases. I = V / R

Hi Kevin, firstly - LOVE your videos. Secondly, could you please explain why the underlined definition is not used to describe Power? (Power = rate at which work is done) - the "per second” part confuses me.

The 9 and 15 ohm are in series in the same path for current to flow. The current splits between the 8 ohm and the other path (9+15) ohm. Therefore, the 8 ohm is parallel to the (9 and 15 ohm) Hope that helps? 😸
