I completely agree. There's an intangible factor to this series that I really enjoy. These videos seem to capture actual conversations and include much less 'performing' than most interview shows. I actually find this series to be quite calming.

As waiter years ago served Michael and his family. They were very nice. Best part was I didn't recognize him. At the end of the meal he asked if we knew each other. I said no, he introduced himself, to my surprise. His kids loved it that the whole time I didn't care who he was or that he was the famous "the batman".

Thanks for the epic trips! Kevin, you've always been very candid and fairly funny. These interviews are some of my favorite documentary experiences because I appreciate who you are and what you bring out of others. For instance the discussion topic that 99% of people don't know how difficult stand up is. I've done stand up less times than I have fingers, and not done horribly, although there are few things more challenging than self expression in a way that makes everyone in the room feel uncomfortably good. Whether it's a slew of introverted sentences, or an expectation flung to the dust foreshadowing a new interpretation of something less thought, or an uncommon mix of absolute creative insanity there is no one formula to connect with the audience. To witness the hollywooded heroes of haha that can raise the bar of laughter time and time again, over and over - without becoming too grotesque or obsolete is quite the honor!
