When my boss asks me to do something cool with CSS I usually go with a border radius.

Very awesome creations! 😻🤝🔥 I'm not into the World Cup, a huge distraction to masses, and kinda boring though impressive feats. Plenty of fans are just toxic or even homicidal based on bets and such, and a lot of exposed mental abuse from how they condition athletes, but I give props to Messi, fellow Jewish brother! 🌱💚 Very nice to be the typically most favourited fútbol player, especially during the times with Ye and others spreading racist-founded debunked remarks against us (especially coming from other man-made religions who misconstrue an unhistorical, unoriginal, Jewish not Christian "Jesus" [when J didn't exist back then and that's not a Jewish name but a Greek name]). :3

@@oliver139 well, since the current mainstream design philosophy seems to be "make everything look as flat and borderless as possible", a shadow can go a long way 😉

Honestly seeing the depth people have taken CSS I'm inspired to learn it as deeply as possible. I already get overwhelmed with the sheer number of tools out there, from ui libraries, or things like tailwind. I'd rather create my own visual elements myself and have complete artistic control over the things I design so going all in with CSS just feels right for me.

That Mario 64 is just insane! The original was easily the most amazing piece of real-time graphics in the 90's - and it is so awesome there are people out there pushing CSS art further in that direction.

I do wonder if the 'picture' artwork is done via some sort of a tool.? CorelDraw for example has tools to convert images to line art which you could store as SVG. It seems plausible to create similar tool which generates divs with css.
@KevinPowell2 жыл бұрын
There are generators out there, the Mona Lisa one I skipped is an example of that. Maybe one skipped through, but most of these artists are well known for the insane things they're creating with CSS 🙂

Just started a coding bootcamp a few months ago, my tutor says the art can be created in adobeXD and then adobeXD can turn it into code for CSS and HTML.

I kinda just scrubbed through the video, so I don't know if you mentioned this, but aren't most or all of these created using a tool or utility to convert an existing thing (image, 3D model, whatever) into its CSS equivalent? Does anyone really think that someone is spending the time that would be required to create any of these by "hand-coding" CSS?
