If there is a stain on your carpet, spray it with vinegar and dish soap. Then put a wet towel over it and run your iron over it with steam a couple times. It will lift the stain up. I have gotten Kool-aid stains out of the carpet with this method.

For you spot on your carpet, purchase a Bissell Spot Bot machine and use the Pet cl😂eaning solution. Put the machine right on the spot. It will pull the spot right out. You may need to run the regular rug cleaner over the area to blend that super clean spot you made with the spot bot.

Re your carpet- oxyclean solution. Soak using wash rags. Wipe up. Soak again until the stains come out. It worked for me with rust stains. Resoaked maybe 4 times. Should take care of odors too.

Hi Kevin! When you treat your carpet I would try OdoBan or Natures Miracle. The trick is soaking it completely so it goes into the padding and to the sub floor. You need to let it set for about a half hour then soak it up or pull it all out with your carpet machine. When I soak mine down, I take some clean shoes and repeatedly step on the whole area to where squishes down into the padding. And remember the stain on the padding is going to be bigger around then spot on the carpet …it spreads out! Good luck and glad you’re feeling better.💕

10:05 An old-fashioned stain and stink remover: this Anti-Pee spray removes many smells and stains, including pee, poop, and vomit, from hard and porous surfaces, and laundry. My clients have used this on everything from delicate fabrics to sheet rock, to painted walls, carpets, and a brand new Sealy mattress. Works even with hormonal cat pee. •2 cups white vinegar (only white) •2 cups water •2 tablespoons plain ammonia (Dollar Tree usually has it, must be plain ammonia, not scented, not sudsy). 2 tablespoons = 1 ounce, but accuracy matters, so please use the tablespoon measure. *Mix and decant into a one-quart spray bottle. Makes 33 oz., so you can pour the extra into your washer if you like. Please, no substitutions or different proportions. Please test with your surfaces if necessary. *For hard surfaces, spray and wipe dry. Good on hard floors, tile or linoleum, and to deep clean your litter boxes. Let it soak a while on plastic, that can help. *For laundry, add 1 cup per load. If it’s really bad (vomit, etc) run a rinse cycle with 1 cup of formula, followed by a wash cycle with laundry detergent and 1 cup of formula. *For porous surfaces, including carpet, spray and let dry, repeat as necessary. When spraying carpet or furniture deeply, you may want to run a rotating fan aimed at it, to get it very dry between cycles. You may need to spray heavily if the smell goes deep into furniture. Using a cool fan with opening the windows may help. Repeat as necessary. A professional carpet cleaner told me that most of drying comes from moving air, not heated air. *The worst thing I ever treated with this spray was a 3-section couch that was perfumed. That took 45 minutes a day to spray every surface, every day for 3 weeks, but it worked. (Perfume is much harder to treat than urine! ) •Sniff it the next day. If you’re done, great. Repeat if there is any urine or other bad smell remaining. A faint vinegar smell will fade away over time. •This formula is not the same as vinegar, or vinegar and water. It needs the ammonia too, to do the job. Ammonia is alkaline and vinegar is acid and that breaks down more stains and smells than either of them alone. The water helps the proportions. Good luck, and please share. Rescue animals can lose their home and family over this, and getting it really clean gives them another chance. 🙏🐾💙

Hi Kevin this is my Carpet treatment tip! Get something like the BISSELL Little Green Portable Carpet Cleaner 3369. It is a must if you have carpet. Make sure it has a hose attachedment. Soak the spot with just enough lukewarm water to cover the spot area. (You don't want a big area of wet carpet or rug.) Use only water no more cleaner because it will soap up and will be hard to clean up and may damage the carpet! Now use the attachedment brush on the hose and rub the spot gently in a circular motion only. Let sit for 5 minutes then use the mashine with the hose attachedment and retract the water from the rug. Change the water in the mashine to cold water and rinse the spot. Get a towel and pad the spot to help absorb some more water. Use a fan to help the spot to dry. Hope it helps!

I use Nature’s Miracle for my dog. They have several cleaners to choose from. You might need more than one application. Also, after applying and following directions, I put a weighted wet cloth which I have folded for a few hours to absorb stain and odor. (I usually put something like a can/container to add pressure.). Hope this helps. I enjoyed your video, and the positive energy you provided.😊

I always use watered down isopropyl alcohol on carpet odors. Mix and pour on the spot or spray deep into the fibers and blot with a washcloth. It works very, very well. Also oxy clean and hot kettle water get out any organic stains. I have a 10x14 wool rug. My kids spilled orange pop on and it came out without destroying my rug. I used a carpet shampooer with hot water after to remove residual oxy.

Kevin, arm & hammer makes an extra strength carpet fresh powder that works very well for cleaning and deodorizing, pour on a very generous amount onto spot and scrub into area, then leave overnight and then vacuum up. Repeat a couple of times if needed, works great. Also, don't be afraid to use laundry soap and fabric softener to clean the area. Another option would also be to pull your carpet back and just replace that section of padding, because your padding is what holds the smell and it is something that you and your husband could do and it will be a lot cheaper than replacing your carpet, all you need is a small section of padding.

Hydrogen Peroxide mixed with water, half and half. Soak it well then cover it with white cloth or paper towel and topped with something heavy! Till its dry, usually overnight .it worked for me.
