Imagine if when the Fox merger goes through Disney decide to give us an X-men series with a GOT style budget. Season long story arcs of Age of Apocalypse, Days of future past, The phoenix saga etc. all done the Marvel/Disney way. Separate from the MCU and able to do so much more with their content and characters in episodic adventures.

This is by far the best way to have Marvel tackle the X-Men. Whatever budget is needed aside, the X-Men being an ensemble cast by its very nature, really need a long form storytelling venue to give all of the characters a chance to shine. The inherent social issues that the characters are forced to deal with need more than a 2 hour movie to really be explored as well.

I actually really enjoyed the BET Black Panther mini series. I've been through the whole season and was upset that wasn't a second one. it was the first time I ever really got a chance to delve into and learn about the character Black Panther (which up until that point was only aware of black panther as "that one Marvel character who kind of looks like Batman and will pop up in cartoons every once in awhile") and I liked what I saw, which got me more excited when I found out he was going to be in Captain America: Civil War. Give it another chance Marc! It's just SIX episodes to binge...
