Or we can focus on the more important stuff since AI takes the routine jobs. For example, instead of memorizing facts in History class (which Google can do better than any human) we could learn the trends of history and different ways to analyse events. Students in our current schools never memorize enough facts to get to that stage, and only reach it in high school/university.

That isn’t going to happen, there is already an AI Class Tier system and it will only get bigger. The best AI will only be the reserve of the rich and powerful, and AI will be on a subscription or pay per use basis, and there will be a tier system where the more you pay the better AI you get. The wealthy will get the best AI, the less wealthy will have to make do with a poor substitute. And there will be an AI underclass who don’t have access at all.

CapCut was so disappointing when I tried it this morning. I wanted to drop the background from a short video. I even signed up but it wouldn't load my video because not enough cloud space but no ability to purchase cloud space. Is there another way to drop the background on videos. I love using Camtasia ... I tested CAPCUT..it works fine with still or little-moving objects. It fails to cut out faster-moving objects. It's basically all over the place. Logically you should be able to select an area to cut. Maybe in the future.

ChatGPT/OpenAI is insane. It's better than google if I want a straight answer to a question that requires understanding of complex sentences, like "what's the exercise called where you sit by a bench on the floor and pull yourself up with your arms", and it replies instantly with bench dip. Google also tends to switch up cause and effect (you ask why X happens when you do Y, and it returns results for why Y happens when you do X), while OpenAI does not. It can also translate text, allegedly without the use of an external tool, so by itself, it's almost as capable to do it than specialized translation software renowned for its accuracy like Deepl. While it does have its limits (it's bad at generating natural sounding dialogue for example or coming up with variations), it is so far beyond any natural language AI I have ever seen, it represents a quantum leap forward in this field of development!

It is so important to stay up to date with the most current tools and techniques of the day. If you don’t, you will be left behind. As I do support academics in their Research Data Management, sometimes I find myself wanting to suggest some AI (= ML?) tools able to make the human subjects of their studies easily anonymized. I can explain further, but essentially I'd like to see what AI (?) tools I might suggest that are self hosted and able to replace the face and voices while keeping the expressions, and replace the transcript text with an anonymized one that keeps the meaning.

ChatGPT is awesome and will kill Google in many respects. Im an old unix admin so the other day I asked it to use LVM to create me a logical volume mirror set and the sizes. It gave me every step to do it. Also complex SED or AWK commands to format data in the way I wanted it. I could also extend that to something like shell scripting or a language like Python. You just have to be clear in what you want.

I like art ones to where you tell them what to draw - one is called Dawn A1 and people say the only problem is it leaves the name at the top - but for me that is no problem as my name is Dawn and people think i have signed the art!!!!!

Now I can finally throw away the green screen! Thanks! As far as I can tell, the app is only for Mac. I did not find a PC option. Using the browser page, I was easily able to remove the background and create a green screen background which I plug into premiere. I don't see an option for enhancing on my screen. Maybe they've moved the button since you did this, or got rid of the feature. Would have been cool. But the main thing...using the AI to remove background...is INCREDIBLE.

First, another excellent, informative video. CapCut clearly has some really extensive abilities. I was blown away by the apparent ability to remove backgrounds automatically, so downloaded CapCut. Unfortunately, although I followed your guide, I found it didn't work for me. It was then I saw, in small print, under the 'auto cutout' toggle, 'Only supports auto recognition of portraits'. I guess if it looks too good to be true, it probably is. Thanks anyway, I'm sure the, free, programme will be ideal for many users.
