Kev, you have to seal the hull, you can either use tape specially sold for the job or use wire insulation tape, either way it stops water getting in and sinking.

Seems a bit silly to manufacture an RC boat that's not sealed from the factory... My pro boat jet has a thick foam around the battery hatch.

Traxxas boats are rubbish from factory I had the spartan when they came out the motor jacket leaks so I a motor jacket which didn't leak then I got 2 Proboats much better and faster better quality hulls than any Traxxas boats iam not slagging Traxxas I've had several of there cars and they are a blast

Awesome vid Kev, it's all about how much fun you have with the hobby 😁. I have the WL915 shown in the video and absolutely love it. The first time it dived under water and didn't come up for a few seconds I got a bit worried, but then it shot out about 20 feet away like in this video and I burst out laughing too.
