Wow I wish I saw this video a month ago! I just received one of these and they are absolutely awesome! Definitely need to lock tight everything like a full rebuild! The Portal Axles are awesome and thanks for showing how to adjust the castor as I didn't know they could be adjusted like that! Always awesome videos Kev, thank you from Down Under in Oz!

The transmission can be flipped around if you desired it that way. It is held on by the 4 screws and can be flipped. It’s built just like an axial scx10

Yeah banggood isn’t great took 2 1/2 months just to get a set of tires form them. Customer service was horrible to. For the price you can get a brand new rtr trx4 sport and a good lipo!

quick tip for mounting tires to beadlock wheels. put your tires in the freezer overnight, it will stiffen them up and make them easier to seat the beads.

Just a tip I know this video is old But when building that kind of wheel, put the 4 screws in the back first and then take one out at a time and put the thread locker on one at a time, that way the rest are holding the wheel together and you don’t have to worry about the beed coming out

Hey kev thats an ace package for the money! Also, luv that 20kg servo for under a tenner!?? I often buy "cheap" servos for my rc stuff, and 99% of them have served me faultlessly for multiples of YEARS!! I honestly don't see the point of paying £100+ for servos if it's not for something that specifically requires the absolute highest possible precision and reliability!?? In all other circumstances these "cheap" servos are a match for most of the top spec servos and give you 10 times the kg/cm Torque per £'s spent when compared to the price of "high end" servos! They're the most under-rated rc items available today imo! Cheers Kev!

Mine came in two weeks or so ago. Pretty nice. But when I tried it, it turned out the front axle was dead. Turns out there was a missing cross pin in the transfercase. So yeah, the parts are good, but the assembly is as chinese as ever. Otherwise, it's a great kit and I'm finishing up the PowerWagon body for it soonish so I can run it and look good! And the Powerwagon body fits decently even with the wheels.

Great looking chassis and love those cast and machined axles. Knowing you like a crawler, it would be great see you review the Traction Hobby Founder 2. All metal portal axles, 2wd/4wd selectable, 2spd, remote locking diffs and 1/8th scale on 2.2 tyres. I've stuck a HW AXE 550 combo in and it's really impressive!

Move the battery tray to the front and the receiver box to the rear. Need to get creative and shim under the battery tray for servo clearance at full compression. Makes it much more capable if you are looking for that. Toss a proline Chevy zr2 body on it lol

With the castor angle forward like it was you get a better steering radius as the tires turn they also lean over a bit. People thought I was crazy rolling my enduro ones forward till they saw it turn in a comp I was at.
