I think there's 'ARMMA Tough' (????) and Traxxas Tough - which is!! That is testimony to the original design - love it. I keep seeing these videos and wanting my old one back! I always upgraded everything, then spent a fortune on bodies as well! I'm old now, so have reverted to a 'tamer hobby' - just as expensive - railways! Keep these videos coming - great entertainment. Gate without fence - supply an electric fence and let the sheep graze - the electric fence is enough to stretch the cable on small posts :)

Hey kev a trick is to run a velcro strap where the latch is and under the shock tower. Helps keep the body on buddy! Love the adventure style vids.

Love it I built my Xmaxx right along with that Xmaxx I’m guessing it’s running 19/50 gearing I upgraded to the 1717 Castle 1650 and it’s even nastier than the Traxxas 1600 vxl

It’s faster because it’s the stock 6s motor on 8s. That’s a common upgrade, the 6s X motors are solid from when they were designed by castle.

Surprisingly that gearing is why is so fast all though 18 is a little high but other wise it think what its trying to achieve is torque and speed and since it's been geared like that you won't sacrifice your motor overheating. Pretty much that gearing for that truck is spot on you could probably do something like that on your 6s kraton.

My poor xmax has finally broken me. Its probably the proline tires but its a shelf queen now. Too many diffs, even the center one isnt safe. New bulkeads and shims no help. Had fun though.

well thanks to you i think i must be addicted to this now, just orderd a hobao hyper vs roller can't really afford the rtr vertion lol just hope the max10 combo is powerfull enough for it i have in my hsp xtsr, as it's ovisly to powerfull for that unless i can get decent drive shafts for it as the last ones only lasted 5 minutes only on 2s as well.
