3M engineer and GR86 owner here! Happy to see you using our adhesive remover- that stuff is awesome for removing spoilers secured with our adhesives. I’m dreading the days when I do that to my GR86 because of how anal I was during installation… 😅

Next time I need to remove 3M tape, I will use this. It is an absolute pain to remove it. Goo gone doesn’t work, alcohol doesn’t work, heat gun doesn’t work. What worked was almost 2 hours of all of that plus a utility knife and sure as hell scratched the clear cut but i was trading in so not my problem. Seriously getting this next time.

Great video you also could have used Goo Gone with no damage to the paint .. spray it or Dab it on to the adhesive if its heavy adhesive let it sit 5 to 10 minutes then go back with a micro fiber cloth and rub away it will take a few tries but in the end look like new.

My buddy and i both have white VBs. He got a wing from AFD and it turned ugly yellow immediately in the sunlight due to bad clear coat. He then went on back and forth with AFD and received 4 more replacement wings that all turned yellow as well! Lol i got my noble wing from import image racing however and its been perfect and has not changed color. Also a 3 piece design as apposed to the 5 piece design from AFD

My AFD v3.5 wing wasn’t even painted on the bottom and crevasses… there was also debris and wood chips w/ clear coat over it on the bottom in which I cannot remove.. emailed them about it and never responded back to me..

I have this same AFD wing and am actually very disappointed. If you look at the wing’s angle of attack it actually generates lift rather than downforce. Compare the angle it to any OEM STi wing and you’ll see what I mean. Curious to what your thoughts are.

Wings too narrow and short for the wider body of the VB. Doesn't fit the car IMO. This gen is a duckbill gen for sure at least till someone makes a wing that actually fits this car.
