Bless this brotha man. We all sin and forgiveness is not only physical but spiritual. One can only imagine the mental state you have to endure to survive being "caged" in confinement like an animal for 30 years. I have a uncle who's been locked up since 84' and is still @ old Folsom since 84'. He was 25 at the time. Not sure if he banged bc I never met him, i was born in 87', but he lived in the pueblos when he got locked up back in 84'. that shit truly makes you a man or a mouse. Much love and respect and continue to live brotha. More interviews like this Kev. You really know how to put together some good shit Mayne. Netflix ain't ready. You need that contract to make a series brotha. Trust me when they see your social media grind, someone gonna be reaching out, it's a matter of time.🏦 👍💪🍻

The way they locked this brother up in the SHU, validating him a BGF, was a common tactic by the CDC. Once Crips and Bloods were ordered by the court to not be classified as prison gangs, therefor the CDC couldn't lock them up in solitary, they started validating brothas as BGF sympathisers. They did Askari from 60's like this. The beast always adapts, and so should we.

People always wanna know why the black gangs weren't organized and structured, because the prison system and the government took our leaders and teachers and locked them away in solitary confinement for 30-50 years at a time. No other gangs were treated this way but the blacks, we are also the reason why there aren't anymore weights on the yard.

Great interview, Micheal and his family were my former neighbors in Watts. ... I was wondering what happened to them.🤔 They arrived in the neighborhood before anybody I knew had heard of crips. Mack's family had moved on 103rd St a few years earlier. Our street did Not have an organized Gang in residence and Mack did not run the Block at that point. He was just a kid on the street like all the rest of us. Micheal was new and we thought of him as a little different! "Free Bill Cosby and all Innocent Political Prisoners"!!
