I have respect for the OG hoimie but I'm not in agreement that he witnessed the writing of Blood on the wall in Bishop neighborhood back in 71 or 72 Jimmy lavender stated clearly Bishop's were not bloods in 1974 or prior. Someone not telling truth. I'm more incline to believe a co-founder rather than a seven or eight-year-old.

Especially at the end when you two where talking His perspective / Historical perspective Especially when you are not from LA or any of those parts you want to kno the real. I can tell OG studderbox really wanted to get that out. I look forward to many more interviews from different neighborhoods and homies. So much history out there it’s just amazing. Luv from Brooklyn Mak. 💯

For anybody that thinks Kev has some agenda EAD. Part 1 Studderbox clarified info he felt was inaccurate in a magazine article; the magazine Kev started. This points to him wanting accurate info and not being afraid to have someone who was there set the record straight. Like Big U stated, Kev Mac is the Historian and his integrity for his craft cannot be questioned, especially after this interview. Studder box was one of the best interviews, simply because of the honesty of recollection. The speaking in tongues and his thoughts on faith shows he kept it real. Many cats would have pushed that off thinking it made them seem weak. Big Kev keeping it real.

Eric Lucas Big Mizz from 90 was the Hoover interview. He was highly influenced by them as a kid and spoke on the 83, 92, 94 and 107. Big Hawk gave clear details on how 107 Hoover started. Hawk also named the founders of 74,83,92 and 112 Hoover. Big Mizz named the founders of 94. Big Pookie from 40 touched on the 43 Hoovers a little bit. The Q bone interview would more than likely give some info on 52 Hoover. It's hard to find active members from that era that will talk.

Much respect to the OG's and YG's. Ain't no place like home. Those bricks raised me and taught me if you can make it there, you can make it anywhere in the world. I appreciate you Kev for using your platform to educate people on life in the hood. Maybe one day we can link up and I can give you a prospective from a person who lived in the Pueblos for 26 years and choose to go a different route. My experiences living in the Lows helped me to strive for the life God meant for us. Most people there are talented beyond belief and know how to make something out of nothing but lack guidance and proper education. Things that are one, not provided by public education and two, hard to focus on when as a child you're worried about eating that day. No mom. No pops like a lot of us who grew up in these circumstances. Mine passed away before I was 5 but a lot of parents were strung out on drugs. Some still are. Just a Grandma working herself to death just to keep the lights on and a roof over her grand children's head. I chose science, engineering, product developmment and the investment industry to one day be able to go back and give back to the hood that helped mold me. So that one day I could help show people there is a way out. There are positive successes that come out of the projects. I'm a prime example. I no longer live there because I refuse to allow my three boys to see what I saw and go through all the pain and hurt that comes with that life. I'm no better than anyone in these hoods but the thought of repeating that vicious cycle with my children and family terrified me and became part of driving force. Much love for your content and keep up good work.

The Bible is the Word of God and God has told us how to live in peace. So there is no excuse if you choose to destroy others or yourself. Only those who live by the word of God will inherit His creation and live forever

Ivan Williams Well that makes sense about NH-BLOCC..... because the 113 BLOCC CRIPS are right across western from them. But as far as who was first to push NHC, that has always been a mystery. I've heard the NH-LYNWOODS say they were first. And I've also heard the COMPTON-NHOODS say they were first. I do know this. For the 1e11's to be so small of a hood & on the downside as long as they have ( since 2005 been kinda turned down, they were real active in the 80's & 90's) they get lots of respect and always mentioned by ppl on a lot of these videos.

Great interview. The gang situation in LA is very similar to how the West and North African tribes were warring with one another while Rome was doing they thing and it wasn’t until they picked up Islam and got on the same page that they came back into power around 600-700 AD. They got under one God used the Quran for discipline and for guidance to handle their disputes and was getting busy in trade and commerce. They was still gangstas tho but under the Islamic umbrella when it came to dealing with non Muslims. These tribes were all from the same origin but were branching off and taking different names starting different villages, cities and empires. Same skin tone. Same DNA. Same origins. Lack of knowledge and vision for the bigger picture.

yorkthe1 the Nile Valley was in disagreement with Akhenaten bro. He a Monotheistic ruler, who changed the whole Theology of Khemet(which was Polytheism). He couldn’t he unify the land of Khemet let alone the whole of Nile, and most certainly not the rest of Alkebulan
