Hes had to work with overly defensive people who come from rough backgrounds and are tone deaf. Hes the most authentic person ever, especially surrounded by people who have been trained to be fake happy with abusive religious traditionalism.

Time will record JM as one of the best musicians and worshippers who walked the globe. The first night I discovered his music on KZbin, it hadn’t reached the stores yet in Johannesburg. I was depressed and just listening to easy music, then about midnight I heard JM’s live performance in Bishop Marvin Winan’s church. I ended up listening to everything he had produced and it was 8am by the time I was done. 2018/19 I was in his live show at The Sony Hall and that was a climax for me. I don’t believe in genres , I classify music as Jonnie does, life music and death music. Christ is the real deal and centre piece of art. For Him and through Him.

OMG!! Jonathan is so telling the truth about I I too grew up COGIC and my grandparents, parents, and whole family were Missionaries and Superintendents in the church. I felt you when you said when you have morning service and night service, you don't leave, mama and daddy or somebody designated went and got some boxes of chicken and we sat up there and ate, ran around mocking the older saints, played with all the instruments, were loud, fell asleep, woke up and went back to church. COGIC KIDS!!! You can't join in, you got to be born in!!!!!!
