That's because Russia knew that a Black LGBTQ woman would be advocated for and that they would get what they wanted in the end. Pertaining to the “Fired Nurses” portion of this video, I remember my first labor like it was yesterday and it was THEE worst experience out of all 3 births of my children. It was at Albert Einstein Hospital in the Bronx, NY. Was in labor for 16 hours, they had me in triage for 98% of my labor. The nurse probably checked on me TWICE while I was there. Mind you, my husband, momma and best friend were present. I passed out 3 times, and then when I had to use the restroom, they didn’t give me a wheelchair or come check on me. My husband had to patrol the hall to find me a wheelchair, and I scooted on the chair to the bathroom, almost pushing my son out into the toilet. THATS when they decided to spring into action. Then when I got into the labor room, they had the NERVE to tell me to “Hold on, don’t push yet” as they slowly prepared themselves. When I tell y’all HORRIBLE!!! I cried, screamed and damn near died FOR HOURS, and was treated like I was being a spoiled brat. My son came out after two pushes. SMDH

When it came to the healthcare workers, it brought up a topic my friends have talked about before: The Mean Girl to Registered Nurse Pipeline. It’s so strange, but for whatever reason, we found a lot of the girls in high school that one would consider Queen B’s, bullies, etc. mostly ended up working in healthcare. But more importantly, they are girls who never grew out of that ‘mean girl’ phase. I can’t imagine leaving a loved one in the care of someone so immature and careless. I just don’t understand why you would enter into a field where you are literally caring and attending to ailing people and act the way they acted. And yes, even people who love their jobs have things that they don’t like about it and can be annoyed by it. But this was too much and they really just played themselves on the process; they took something that they could have talked about in private to the internet and now they really should suffer the consequences. Unfortunately, I’m sure Kevin is right, these women will likely be able to transfer to different hospitals

Like what the freak. Now do we have patients that are needy and or have a nasty disposition yep. But my job is to serve and take care of you specifically your child. I knew that going into it and 10 years later im still in love with my patients and families. If you are unhappy with your care go to the charge nurse or speak with management. 💜
