1. I usually like to keep a low profile on Social media and didn’t previously like “liking”, commenting, and such. But now that I know it helps the creators I try to be as involved and engaged as possible bc I know that’s what brand deal givers look at and I want my people to WIN. So that part is hard and sucks. 2. Turn off email and phone push notifications. That’s one of the easiest ways to keep some of your control when using SM. No one needs to have unnecessary information have the ability to interrupt what they’re doing and distracting them all day like that. 3. I have cut our most SM unless I’m looking for something specific (new restaurant, a deal, etc.).But KZbin has got me still. One thing I do to confuse YT and keep them from recommending all kinds of stuff to me is tap the 3 dots then say, “I’m not interested” or “Don’t recommend this channel”. It helps to cut down a lot on me getting caught in the YT rabbit hole. 4. You can set time limit notifications to help you out on all SM sites. Ok I know that was a lot, but I just wanted to share some easy ways to be involved in SM if you want but still limit their “control”.
