Kevoy's street car running a T4 turbo setup, straight pipe exhaust, Ross pistons, upgraded cams, and an ECUMaster EMU. The car put down 513whp @ 18psi on 93oct pump gas. Good to go!

Just finished up my 7mGTE build with forged internals and the SP precision 6262 turbo. It been running amazing and was well worth it. I keep my 2jz in my GS300 where it belongs for a reliable daily driver but the 7m has been a very reliable motor for me for all these years with no problems.

If people ask why a 7M, show them the torque curve. 1JZ can only dream of such low/mid range.

This is exactly why i like the 500hp area. Yeah, you won't be running nines, but those gear pulls take longer and, thus, you are able to savor them longer as you accelerate. I'll take that any day over 1000hp supras that are done accelerating to 170 in 5 friggin' seconds after a bunch of backfiring and frantic-ass shifting.

yeah thats a good point and i would love to rebuild my 7m to be better and faster in every which way the only problem is the cost its way out of my budget to rebuild everything and i mean everything the only thing thats still usable is the block so right now its cheaper to get a 1j or a 2j and do a cheap swap plus i'll get a bit more power too

Okay so this is my goal 500+rwhp as well I'll be running the same ecu. Ecu Master and i have my fuel set AND ecu plan but what's a good turbo for this set up I was thinking borg Warner or Precision 6262 at least 18 19 psi max please help me decide what turbo or anything else you guys want to add that would help and be great to I would really appreciate it 7m is life and will continue to be. Thank you

Honestly any good, reputable brand will yield you the power goals you're looking for. Any modern turbo such as Precision, Borg, or Garrett are all going to perform similarly at these lower power levels.

@@SupraExDriver so what's a good turbo to use for low PSI meaning around 18 19 20 range and I can still hit 500 horsepower or is it all within the tune

@@supra_boii8882 research man its a matter what your preference mainly and its exactly what reid said all the mid level turbos especially the ones you mentioned will perform about the same around those power levels bw s369 or pte 6262 , etc. i prefer the bw turbos due to price, quality and ease to rebuild but again its your preference

Why not put a hks carbon TI instead of going straight pipe? Can't find any vids of a 7m with carbon TI muffler. They sound sick on a 2j, wondering how they are on a tuned 7m🤔🤔🤔

Oh I have been working on this car for a little over 8 years that now I am going to try and get 650-700 whp on the 1jz vvti I put in 4 years ago with probably a ecumaster black unit but I need to call them before I order and install parts
