I'll never forget jamming with King Khan at Norman Music Festival because of my crazy hands lol, dude was something else. We just jammed on some surf rock stuff I played drums, with a stand up bassist and him for 15-20 minutes. I felt bad for the girls whose drums it was though because I wasn't from there and all these people were like whotf is this guy on "girls name" drums, but you don't get a chance like that every day. It was in a record store on the strip, so a lot of those people probably were there all the time.

A long time ago, I flew to Seoul to see the King Khan & BBQ Show. Unfortunately, they had a kerfuffle in Australia the night before the Korean show and parted ways without finishing the tour.

They don't got this stuff were I live. I like the idea of going to a bar... looking at these guys...thinking - who are these jokers. and then getting rocked out! cool stuff! Wish there was more of this stuff. Doesn't look too costly.

Does anybody have an idea how Mark Sultan rigs his drums? I figure he just tilts a snare on the side with the stand and uses a foot pedal but how does he mount the tambourine to the kick drum?

He uses his feet like hands and just grabs onto the thing.

Right foot controls the bass drum with attached tambourine (you can rig it up really easily yourself) and then his left foot is the snare. Hope that helps

+TRIPLESEVENSIX Actually asked him this. The body is that of a gretsch billy bo jupiter (at least the shape is) but they never made a bolt on neck version with those telecaster pickups in it. So the neck doesnt match the body, but it fits anyhow. So basically the body is probably off some Chinese copy so its a total frankenstein guitar.
