Flore Laurentienne - Full Performance (Live on KEXP)

Nous sommes chanceux ici au Québec d’avoir des artistes si talentueux. La musique de Flore Laurentienne m’a bouleversée. Il maitrise à merveille ses synthétiseurs. Aucun « preset » n’est utilisé dans sa musique. Pour ceux et celles qui sont moins familier avec le monde des synthétiseur un « preset » est un son déjà programmé et modifié afin que le claviériste n’aille pas à fabriquer ses sons à chaque fois qu’il modifie les modulations, ou bien qu’il puisse, une fois avoir construit ses sons, le retrouver facilement grâce à un simple bouton. Dans le cas des synthétiseurs utilisés ici (le légendaire Minimoog, le Korg MS-20, le Rhodes) se sont tous des instruments/synthétiseurs sans la possibilité de mettre des « preset » donc Flore Laurentienne (Mathieu) dois lui même construire ses sons et être en contrôle de leur subtilité. Quelle artiste!

Incredible performance of great material. It won't tolerate being a pleasant background, the creative melodies and the top notch mixing of instrumental flow elevate it to something you have to give full attention to. It flows incredible, evokes emotions, it's quite numinous.
