Rain Plains is one helluva song!! Like a cross between Pink Floyd and Captain Beyond. Just so cool! Discovered Israel's music in the movie Captain Fantastic. Loved it instantly!

OH MAN! Instant, total love for this band, this sound. I heard Israel Nash on Muzak at work. I don't think I've heard him on mainstream Austin radio...odd.

Love this mini concert. I'm reading you sound similar to Neil Young, perhaps, but I'd add a little My Morning Jacket, too. Actually, you sound like Israel Nash.

The first time I heard Isreal I thought of Neil Young when he was in his prime

...and then you remembered that NY couldn't sing like this!
@madi.kazhykarim7 жыл бұрын
Sure he could and he made better music. NY's lyrics are close to poetry.
@MarkBender7 жыл бұрын
I'm a fan of Neil Young, Israel Nash, Joey McClellan (and Midlake) for that matter. 'Better music' is subjective. I'm looking forward to Nash fleshing out his style and groove.
@madi.kazhykarim7 жыл бұрын
No doubt it is subjective, and yet N.Young is of a different calibre, at least to me. But let's see. I'll be looking forward to see I.Nash evolve.
@lucasmorales71196 жыл бұрын
Agreeing with Madi. Plus I don't think when Neil Young was "in his prime" people were comparing him to somebody greater or similar. He was in a way, unique. The fact that I.Nash is having the same guitar, a pedal steel guitar in the background / a ranch doesn't mean he sounds like Neil Young. Sure he's a big fan though...
