At least you got to see the buildings I'm born in 2008 it's my birthday in 3 days and I'm turning 16 I'm from Europe but exceptionally good at english always have been. Learned it at a very young age and I speak a few languages and I have a well let's just say quite a good grade in english. Me and my family have been to the states so many times I can't even count them all my estimate is maybe 10 or 12 times by now. I can't believe it's almost a year ago since we were in the states. I don't know if it was 2013 or 2014 but around there somewhere. And we were in New York City and everything was good and at the age I was you obviously don't know about the bad stuff, you only focus on the good stuff and the fun things. Now last year in 2023 we flew from Copenhagen to Newark Liberty International Airport and than from Newark to Florida I have to mention the view of the Manhattan skyline while flying next to it was crazy like we had been flying over the North Atlantic Ocean for approximately 8 hours and only to look out the window and see a city you've seen in so many movies and such a popular city that you have a few distinct memories from but from a while ago. I saw the One World Trade Center knowing that it's the tallest building in the Northern Hemisphere and seeing it in real life was very cool. I didn't think about 9/11 at that time only later I thought about it once. I didn't wanna be stuck on it for too long but I was just a bit sad and annoyed that the buildings were not there. I had seen a few older movies where the towers were in the background. It was also sad for me to know that they once existed there before I did, and now they aren't there anymore. I wish you could just blink and see those buildings back and hope to be in a parallel universe or in a world where the attack never happened. I feel sorrow for the firefighters and strangers who died saving people, I feel sorrow for all of the jumpers and people in the buildings who never made it out. Also got to mention all the people in the airplanes and the people on the ground when the buildings collapsed. I feel like the passengers and crew of Flight 93 are not nearly mentioned as much as they should be. Anything regarding 9/11 the day if it's about the Twin Towers or not everything that happened on that day should be remembered and honestly embraced. We have to remember the people who could have lived and the people who unwillingly left their families because of some low life terrorists. If you could save everybody and have the towers lay in ruins you know what you would do. What makes it even more sad is the possibility that someone like you or many other New Yorkers who lived to see the towers might've actually met someone who worked in the WTC if it's a complete stranger on the street who happened to wear a suit. You'd never know that persons fate, you wouldn't even know if they worked there or not. There is also the possibility that you knew someone or knew someone else who knew someone.. there were a lot of people who knew people who worked in the towers of course. I review old footage from before pre 9/11 and I see the people working there and I wonder if they survived and even if they did the survivors guilt and the trauma would be unbearable. I feel like I'm done talking and I kinda wanna lighten my mood but also everyone elses mood too and too lighten the mood I want to talk a little bit about my trip before ending this comment. We landed safely in Newark and unfortunately couldn't make our next flight because of a delay that happened in Copenhagen so we had to stand in a queue in Newark for SEVERAL hours because of the computers they had and probably still have. They were so incredibly slow and the service was quite bad. Service is usually good in the states but yeah not everywhere and that's understandable. We eventually got to stay in a hotel for one night completely for free at a hotel called DoubleTree. (I got a free cookie) I'm just gonna cut to the chase the next day we were on a United Airlines Flight and you know the screens where you can watch movies, well there's the whole control panel on the seat because they weren't touch screens. My menu button was broken so I could only scroll. I would like to mention this event which I thought was weird to know it was all happening so close and in real time after scrolling I got to a NY news channel I don't know which but there was a fire in a port I think it was in Manhattan. I was on the right side of the plane to be more specific the window seat and since the plane took off and was leaning at an angle I did see some smoke from a fire. I know it's nothing TOO special but it was weird to think about, it's happening right there so close. I might be Danish but residing in Sweden and like the number one thing I see before landing is a freaking IKEA I was like, it's like we never left. We approached Orlando and I don't remember the reason but we had to wait with landing so the plane was just spinning in circles multiple times until the pilots got permission to land. Last time we were in Florida was in 2017 so we had to catch up and my memory felt refreshed?? anyways we had a fun trip went to Universal Studios and all of the 4 Walt Disney World Parks we did not see any alligators but I do remember Everglades in 2017 that big boat with the big motor on the back. I think I'm done now because I can't write forever and this also took FOREVER to write but in my opinion it was 100% worth it as I felt like I had a few things to say, have a nice day! MUCH LOVE!!
@CIeaner239 күн бұрын
damn it when I make a mistake I usually just fix it before sending and even if I send I copy paste my entire comment, delete it, fix, and send, I'm not gonna do that so the United Airlines flight I didn't see it out of my window the plane wasn't even because of the lean so I only saw the smoke for a few seconds from the window on the left side window seat which is across on the other side of the fuselage okay bye bye

If you listen to the Regis and Kelly broadcast from that day, they take a call from a caller stuck in the north tower. One of the reasons so few NYPD died was the early warning their helicopters gave as they circled the Towers. From that vital perch they reported the S. Tower was swaying 15 minutes before they fell. They had different radios, so our guys, (FDNY) did not know. Guys I interviewed weeks after from L-18 told me PD guys were running down the stairs of T-1 yelling the Bldg was going to come down and to get out NOW.

They insisted their team land first, and WE COULD NOT order them to do anything. Had we had our own copter, our guys would have landed, saved as many as possible and reported on the conditions. @DavePocklington9 күн бұрын
Yeah me too. I've watched hours of footage and the initial fireball completely covers the area she stands in. So she must have got to that area from somewhere else where she was missed by the flames. There are photos of two others who survived in that area. One is right at the edge of the right hand wingtip. He stands completely out of the window. But is never seen again. The other one appears just above and to the left of the waving woman. There is a rectangular section, where the stainless steel covering has been stripped off. He appears in the last window on the left of this rectangle.

Thanks for covering topics like this! I was alive hut very young when this happened. It seems so recent, seems like extensive investigations were done, extensive news coverage but there are still so many unknowns
@davidanderson18897 күн бұрын
There's a few things wrong with your fine analysis. The jet fuel you mentioned had burned off for the most part during the first moments after the impact of the aircraft, as seen in the huge fireballs. What was left burning was office furnishings, carpets, office supplies and such. basically a very large residential fire. If steel structures could collapse because of the heat generated by furnishings burning, literally every single high rise that ever caught fire would have collapsed. Yet in the history of skyscrapers there have been only 3 that ever collapsed because of fire and that were the 3 buildings of the Trade Center complex. Never before or since was a building brought down by fire. You also mentioned floors collapsing. While that is very probable due to the extreme damage done by the aircraft impact and subsequent explosion of the fuel tanks, the weight of the buildings was not resting on the floor beams and so even if 10 floors would have pancaked on each other, that would not have influenced the external structure and the interior steel box girder structure. The way these towers were designed, you could technically take out all floors and the building would still stand because the floors themselves were not load bearing structures. Another point I should make about the fires is that we all saw the thick black smoke coming from the buildings after the jet fuel burned up within a minute or so after the impact. That thick black smoke indicates an oxygen starved fire. Fires get more intense and a lot hotter when fueled with oxygen. The less oxygen, the less intense the fire is and the less hot it will burn. Given that structural steel does not deform the way the 9/11 report had suggested (I read it) at these low temperatures, it is simply not possible for the structure to fail because of it. There's a lot more to write, but I don't want to put up a novel here. Let's just say that the 9/11 report was a work of fiction.

@VTPSTTU9 күн бұрын
Thanks for the video. The value of the sprinkler system would be that if enough water had been able to reach the fires, the expansion of water to steam might have starved the fire of oxygen. That steam would have cooked everyone in the building above where the steam was being formed. Maybe the total death toll above the fires would have been the same. However, if the sprinkler water had been able to deprive the fire of oxygen, the buildings might have survived.
@3xcolorsFox9 күн бұрын
What puzzles me is at the time, and I assume still today, they didn't have some sort of aircraft that could fly up next to these, park up right next to the towers or shoot water in. Instead of a flying car, a flying firetruck. That, or have a hose long enough to reach up that far, a pump that can pump the water up, and then a heavy lift helicopter that can fly the hose up and shoot water in. Yes, you may not need to use it all that often, but when you do, you really do. Something like that then would have been like superman swooping in to save the day or angels.

At 2:20 is a great shot of the lightweight floor systems PA used for Towers. The lightweight open-web bar-joist trusses held up the corrugated floor panels and a few inches of light concrete. Their "spray-on insulation" will only adhere if the metal is clean of all rust and solvents. But in reality that light steel had no chance to hold up to the high temps generated by the jet-fuel, the dozens of tons of airplane burning, or the dozens of tons of office equipment& furniture that had ignited.

6:36 the pumps on Titanic did buy quite a lot of time. Also the bulkhead between the bow and superstructure held far longer than it was designed for. 8:15 if you watch some of the closeup videos, and the shots of “the waving woman” Edna Cintron are a good example, you can get an idea of the carnage as you can make out floors collapsed on one another and twisted beams, wires and office equipments smashed all over the place. But yeah the planes had disappeared beyond where the surface light could reach so we can’t make out the plane parts from outside. But I’m sure some people were face to face with the fuselage and engines if they were unlucky enough to have survived the initial impact.

How do you fly fully fueled airplanes into buildings and not set off pre-planted explosives? How would the two biggest building fires in human history not set off pre-planned explosives?
@Cookie-dr6iq8 күн бұрын
@@sk8knight explosives don't work that way , they need a charge and are set off through remote control.

Supposably there was thermite placed in the towers before they fell.

Isn't it funny that nobody talks about building c which also was demolished or the fact that planes cannot take down buildings alone they had to have internal explosions what you see in the videos

Actually do your work mate i was there i watched this first hand and have done many investigations there was one main cause It had little to do with the steel bending it was cos when they built the towers they connected the floors to the main walls with strong rubber clamps to allow the outer walls to move and to keep column straight once those rubber clamps melted there was nothing holding those floors up and the weight from the few floors collapsing caused the rest to crumble that's why both buildings collapsed the same way cos it was the same problem
