Yellow, blush, camel and beige wash me out. I was really loving summer because I do really well with fuscia pinks, orange, Royal blue, salmon and coral. This won't be easy for me. But I am excited for the Tweed!

Hi lovely, what about going with the darker version of these tones? They do say the trend is about 50 shades of beige so it really does free you up to go as light or as dark as you like, and maybe lots of the dark florals will work? Hope that helps lovely x

As we're officially into spring here in South Oz, I'm slowly starting to put my winter clothing away. One piece that I wore time and again this winter was a butter yellow turtle neck from H&M in Adelaide. Just loved it! And it's a great idea to incorporate that tone into a neutral wardrobe. Loved this! It’s so hard being in nz and 6 months out of season ! I’m always so excited to see new season stuff but I’m in the wrong season! I find myself using ideas from the new season ... using autumn ideas for nz summer etc .. I’ve always been a black winter person but am living the beige and now have a lot of it! I did do some shopping and did go for a grayish/ yellow blouse, camel coat ,dark floral dress, a couple of sweaters in beige / cream and a light gray sweater and long skirt. Thanks for the updates, Jess! My faves this season will definitely be the beige trend and the metallic. I’m due for a new winter coat this year, and love the look of the long wool coats, but freeze here in DC (Thank God I don’t live in Canada 😂) so I think I will be sticking with a long down Patagonia coat, but I will be getting it in beige for sure 😊 Any suggestions for down coats? . Hello lovely, so you're with me on the freezing front!! My theory is if we MUST freeze throughout Winter we many as well do it in style!! I feel like I've tried on every camel coat in existence!! And I've finally narrowed it down to a final 3. Watch this space! On the down front, puffa coats are actually a trend that we saw lots on the catwalk. On the cheaper end of the scale I really like the simplicity of the Uniqlo ones, and they're always great quality. Hope that helps lovely and Happy Sunday x

Aah thanks gorgeous:) With the daytime sparkle you could just do a sprinkle, possibly earrings or a necklace slightly more glitzy than you'd normally go far? As you know I'm not normally one for anything too bling so I think that's probably how I'll interpret the trend or maybe with a metallic/shimmery turtleneck? Brown would be perfect this season, its all about 50 shades of beige so any of the darker shades on the spectrum would be perfect too. Hi Jess, such a beautiful pieces at the background. I am all into these colours this season despite the fact I am a black and navy lover above anything else. Somehow all I want this autumn is beige and muted rosy pinks. Love the sleeves too they bring my pear shape into a proportion (sort of:)). Thank you for bringing that beige cardigan from &otherstories to our attention, just bought it;) Was eyeing similar from ACNE studios on mytheresa but I found it insanely priced. They have such a stunning pieces on the site for this autumn but am 44 and don't need to pay for the brand really (I believe it is what we mostly pay for when it comes to designer brands). I do love a good read of Grazia but when I see the odd blouse for £900 it does make you wonder who is actually buying that? Totally agree on splurging on a good coat. I'm still wearing a MaxMara military coat I bought 20 years ago. It's as good as new and I still get asked about it. But I did pick up an amazing 3/4 length blush herringbone over-sized coat in Asda last week for just £32! Not sure that the dark florals are for me because although I'm olive skinned I can look quite sallow.

A quality winter coat is definitely worth it but price doesn’t always relate to how long it will last if you take care of it. I bought a 100% wool lined coat in black 15 years ago for $50 and it’s doing great because I take care of it. Dry clean after winter before storing, hang up when I get to the office etc

I know! I just moved out as well, and I'm still buying furniture and decorating. So, a (sad) bye-bye to Max Mara and a huge hello to Mango! It is beautiful, indeed. Another option is to check on Adolfo Dominguez, which I love. Thanks for always giving us awesome options. 😄

Loving all the beige camel and sand tones, and the dark flowery blouses like the Pyrus one ( so glad I bought that Thankyou ) The midi skirts are one of my favourites with boots and jumpers. I love skirts, tights, coats and have them in the closet, but as autumn comes prefer a black jacket and black pants with boots so go to spring because it is more convenient and faster to dress. In winter i add hat and scarf as if i fall into hibernation and only wait for spring.

Hi lovely, in all honesty I do have a bit of a love/hate relationship with it! I cut it in and grow it out about twice a year! I think the trick to making it versatile is to make sure they cut it in below the eyebrows, pretty thick but if it's longer it's a lot easier to do more styles with it. I always explain it to a hairdresser that I like a half moon shape and that seems to work. I've filmed a 'How I style my bangs' video which should be in the beauty playlist? That might give you a little inspiration x

You know your fashion woman. It is 80's basic classy/romantic inspired themes. I recall seeing this in the 80's. I so so wish they would bring back the 80's sweater dress/top&skirts because they seemed slimming and comfy. I'm just not into the kolotes or pleats because boxy figures like me can't seem to were them easy.

I have been thinking about your possible Texas trip. If it works out better to fly into DFW airport rent an SUV and go to Fort Worth, it is the cow town of Texas and is really fun. Dallas really has nothing to offer but shopping but this is a trip with the boys. I then would head south to Austin where you will have lots to do and then I would go southwest to San Antonio where the Alamo is and the lovely river walk. You can either loop back to DFW but if you can I probably would fly home from Houston. If I can I will retire out of Texas but if not will try hard to get to the hill country of Austin. It is beautiful there. My youngest just moved to Seattle. Probably closer to the weather of England. I am really interested in visiting there and I love England and want to take my husband who hasn’t been.
