Crazy thing is there is a Islamorada Fish Company at the Bass Pro in Baton Rouge, LA. We eat there all the time when we visit the area. The Caribbean Club reminds of some eclectic watering holes we have in and around New Orleans!

Totally reminds me of New Orleans, too! This IFC is connected to a Bass Pro Shops too! I love going to BPS just to look at the fish and play with everything. It's such a fun store.

Great vlog! I like your dog! Looks like the places you went to are the places I have here where I live! A lot of seafood and alcohol! lol I have a bar here called Seacrets and you can sit outside and eat and enjoy the sunset.

A friend of mine used to be a charter boat captain down there. Lots of fishin' to do! Looks like you had a fun time, funny that DeShawn was down there at the same time!

So funny, right? Had I known, I would have reached out to him to see if we could meet up. We have a friend who does charter fishing trips, and many of our friends live/work in the keys, it's totally our second home. The tourism and fishing charter industry has taken a hit since hurricane Irma and there's a movement to get people back out there. I don't fish myself, but so many of my friends and neighbors do and are also environmentalists who put large amounts of energy into preservation.

That was awesome. I've passed through Key Largo many times to go to Key West but never stopped. I'm going to get some swordfish next time though! That was an excellent vlog, loved it!

Yay thank you!! If I'm inspired one person who hasn't tried it to try that swordfish, then I've done my duty! Remember, the crib is cash only and there's no A/C, so go during cooler weather - although with the ocean breeze coming through, I don't think I've ever been hot or uncomfortable in there (also, I mostly hang out in the back by the water). Thank you again!!

Great eye on that craft beer shop! I couldnt tell if it existed as Sheeka and I were the only people on the island, since Islamorada roughly translated to 'Island of the dead'

I was so surprised that the upper keys weren't more crowded!! Maybe all the crowds went home for Thanksgiving, but I know they'll be back for the holidays. I've also heard from lots of our friends who work down there that tourism hasn't picked up to where it was was pre-Irma, so hopefully this helps people see the keys is open for business!! What days were you guys down there?
