Key Largo/Tavernier FL Mangrove Tour, Paddleboard Places

The mangrove tour at Key Largo is amazing. It starts in a bay and goes along a channel until you turn into the mangrove forest. The mangroves get thick and dense quickly, which will cause you to ride on your knees to get through them. Some branches are so low that you'll need to lay down on your board to get under them.
We used a local tour guide--Key Largo Kayak & Paddle--and they were great. Our guide knew a lot about the area, the wildlife, and the mangroves, and told us to pay attention on the ride and we'll see a lot of wildlife. And we did.
This is a great tour for an adventurous rider. We'd highly recommend it.

It was an adventure doing the limbo. Laying down on the board was easier for sure.
