thanks. my problem is for some reason the computer board inside my FOB wont come out. i feel resistance when trying to remove it. any thoughts? Every video I see showing this process the insides all come apart with no problem.

Yeah it's probably just stuck inside cause of moisture or some glue. You can use a small flathead screwdriver to gently, very gently pry it out.

im having an issue after replacing the battery. After replacing battery key fob led lights up when i press the buttons but only responds to unlock command, even though the doors dont actually unlock (the car does beep when you press unlock) and the lock command doesnt do anything, the open trunk worked too but the panic button doesnt work. I am guessing key fob is broken :/ EDIT: I also tried the method of putting key fob next to Engine On button and sometimes car lights up but always results in no power nor engine. Which is weird because before the battery replacement the car would light up, but the electronics would flash on off; which might indicate a car battery issue... which is odd since the car battery is fairly new and there were no prior symptoms of this. The battery issue could be due to the cold weather but it's only been around 45°F

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, if the key fob is doing some functions, than you replaced the battery correctly. The issue is something else. Like a malfunctioning key fob

Sounds like an issue with the key fob itself. So Hyundai dealership would be a good option. I suggest local auto locksmiths though. Google or search Facebook marketplaces and get a few quotes (as their prices tend to vary quite a bit). Search for key fob Hyundai, new key fob, etc. And it will give you a list of locksmiths in your area, and they can do the job quicker and very likely cheaper. Good luck!

​@@VirarAutomotive So it turns out my issue was regarding my car battery.... Even though the car is only at 50k miles, which i assumed the battery warranty would cover but fun fact: original battery that comes with the car is 3 year warranty OR 36k miles... oh well :/ I originally thought it was the key fob mainly because i saw the key icon on my dash light up when i pressed the engine on. Car battery issues can cause weird issues and this seemingly being one of them.

Hello, If you are changing all pads, then likely they are also changing brake rotors. All pads and 4 rotors, will be around ~$1000. Add $250-300 for the caliper. This is total (including parts and labour)

You need a dedicated machine which usually only a keysmith has. Costs around $100-150 to program a key fob
