Both are required in that scenario even if an updating child and family assessment. That's the primary assessment required whenever there are new concerns

Hi @maureenbennett809. Your question isn't clear enough. But when a social worker completes an assessment, it gets signed off by their line manager. If a case is going to an initial child protection conference then the social workers report will be taken into account in conjunction with other professionals' reports. If this doesn't answer your question please rephrase it
