Though the ancient yogis propounded practices tht were scientific, in modern times, there has been misinterpretation. It is better to read the original texts .What you state abt this video has some merit as sleeping in shavasana is recommended as a finalé to āsanās but sleeping throughout the night in that pose- doubtful. It is also not so easy to achieve super consciousness. One needs training by a master.
