Brilliant!! I’ve managed to strip a $12 kershaw liner and blade and added to the Keybar. It has been a fantastic modification but have just now ordered a micra to add to the assembly!! Thanks for the idea! Love it!

That Micra add-on was brilliant.

Ever stare at TV static so long that you start to see patterns?.... yup, kinda like that. I know, because my head pretty much works the same way! Lol

I just realized that you can use a keybar as a handle for a friction folder or canterbury knife.

I like where this is going. Still, if we can get Core etc implements in there, why have Micra implements? I'd rather have larger implements, and there are other scissors to put in there. But all implements are free-spinning in the keybar, right? Is there a stop to prevent them from going past 180 degrees?

That's why the micra is a cool one as it offers retention

Excellent find with the micro fitting in the KeyBar! I stopped putting leatherman tool parts in because the KeyBar didn’t have a “stop pin”/something to prevent the tools from pivoting. I’ve seen people put the SOG Micron in keybars, but I’m more interested in faster access drivers since I’ve started carrying my Leatherman CS4 in my Pocket organizer bag. I use my Victorinox Sportsman as my easy to get to multitool. My KeyBar just has four keys and no tools currently. My KeyBar and flashlight are both in the left pocket and my KeyBar actually helps secure my flashlight better in the pocket because my flashlight’s pocketclip has weak retention. Cheers! I look forward to when you can tell me how you make a bit exchanger stop pin solution!

I did this with my 3d printed version years ago, I designed it for a fold out slingshot.

nice, I have the scissors from a Leatherman and the pick and tweezers keybar inserts on my Quiet carry Q3 organizer, seems the post size is the same as keybar so I can have most of the goodies of both companies with a more square profile which I prefer.

That micra in there is awesome. Was about to trash it but droped it in a case. Will the bottle opener work? It looks like its to far inside the keybar so it wouldn't grap a cap.

Actually yes it will!

@@maxlvledc perfect! I was looking like crazy to find any original keybar inserts but in germany there are nearly none available and atm its not the smartest idea to order from us I guess. That helps me allot cause i just ordered a keybar 😅 Thanks!
