First off, Im not saying that she doesn't clean her nails, I was referring to how the emloyeer may see her nails as not professional looking, especially corporate offices. Yes I have to keep my nails long too, so I go faster! If a nail breaks, I slow down tremendously. I'm placed strategically in my office, near other employees who love the sound of my tapping! Some have called it soothing to their ears. Lol!

I just got my nails done for the first time ever and i game on pc and it’s been hard for me to figure out how to play without messing up and I DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT JUST USING THE NAILS!! 🥺 thank you for this honestly! Edit: if you get a light up keyboard get either cyber power PC or a razor light up keyboard because those keys are square and those are the ones that I use for gaming

I understand. I been working from home and trying to type on my laptop that has flat keys was really difficult due to my long nails. So I recently bought a pink keyboard from Amazon with elevated keys, easier to type. And I realized I should have bought it earlier. I love your videos!

That cover probably helps with you with grip. I know when my nails were long, it was hard to type on my Mac book because the keyboard is flat. Putting that keyboard cover over the keys helped my nails not slip. I still typed really fast though. My nails were as long as yours, but they were longer than most people’s nails.

When I wear long nails, I try to use the nail in placement of my fingers but I have to use the pads of my fingers because there's not enough friction for it to be stable. I notice on my laptop when I put a rubber keyboard cover I have enough grip/friction for my nails to do the typing rather than the pads of my fingers

I have NO nails, & the flat square keys make my strokes easier. I love those types of keyboards, It’s easier to glide across the keyboard back and forth smoothly without having to lift my wrist or whole hand. The raised keys seem difficult to me, so I can see whatchu mean. ☺️

The Kensington Orbit trackball has a scroll ring around the ball that is super easy to use with nails

Gamer here, if you have long nails it’s hard to game, and there’s really no way to fix it but to get used to it. If your nails aren’t too long you can actually type normally with ur finger tips BUT you risk mistyping heavily. My wpm also decreased severely. I’ve gotten them off now and my fingers feel way better lol. My tip is you really just gotta get used to it, and you can try typing with the actual nail shown in the video instead of ur fingertip. Also, having a bigger mouse can help you. For keyboards, doesn’t really matter but I hated the loud noise my nails made with the keys lol

Came here because my nails have been growing. I find myself typing slower trying not to use my nails. They've never grown this long and I'm afraid they'll break, lol. My mother has a Ring doorbell. It'll jingle whenever someone walks by. Even if a car drives by. There may be a setting to make it alert you only if someone actually comes up to your door. Light up keyboard? Many of them are sturdy because they're made for gamers. Seeing as how this video is a couple of years old, you've prolly sorted out the Ring bell and light up keyboard situation by now. They make mice that are supposed to be more ergonomic to prevent/help with carpal tunnel(or other RSI's), the mouse sits your hand on it's side, so your nails wouldn't drag. The Logitech MX Vertical would be one, however there are probably others.
