GMMK Pro owner... Got the Q1 as well... Anne Bonny build: black body with brass plate, orange & black SA caps, Healios v2 switches and smoky Durock V2s.. Can't wait to take my time with lubing the switches and putting her together... My Pro is also black with brass plate, lubed Glorious Pandas, stock stabs for now and Miami Nights SA caps -- Annabelle Lee build. . Really got no trouble with the original stabs, Permatex works better than the stock grease, and the only space bar has a tiny rattle. In comparison I have Durock V2 plate-mounted stabs on my GMMK1 and the space sounds comparable.

btw, the reason that the arrow keys are pinging is due to the top and bottom case pinging together. the way to fix this is to put two layers of small pieces of tape near the screw points on the bottom case to create a small gap between the two housings

I just got mine in a couple days ago it is much better than the prototype models they sent out for review. There is still definately ping, but adding a couple layers of tape completely fixes it (it also makes the switches sound a lot poppier.) The stabs also seem to be better, still not the absolute best possible but good enough that I dont think I need to mod them. Overall a really good keyboard, especially for someone who wants minimal to zero modding.

I think the reason why the tape mod didn't work is because it acts like a lowpass filter, so pretty much all the high frequency ping would be unaffected

I have both the Keychron Q1 (new one with the knob) and the GMMK Pro. Both feel and sound good after installing Durock v2 stabs and further modding. Ultimately, I prefer the GMMK Pro because it has four keys on the exploded right-most column which I like to map to home, page up, page down and end.
