I’ve played a lot of support classes in class based team games and the way the medic looks so surprised and happy for being thanked really resonated with me

Most of these are just so accurate to me, except for the soldier boyfriend part and the fact that I've never given up playing my medic main. When people just vent at you in-game because you didn't heal them or the team lose or whatever excuses they need someone to blame for, I just take a breath and refocus. I've personally had my shares of players randomly taking a piss at me, even had these kind of people that would insult you then switch to medic to try and prove they will do your work better (they did not). No matter how good you may be as a medic main, you can't heal everyone everywhere all the time. Even if you're a quick-fix team healing enthusiast, it's just not possible to fully heal every single teammate while everyone is try-harding on both teams and the control point is a literal battlefield. Do your best, have fun and never let anyone turn you down from playing the class you love. Trust me and this cool dude that made the video, honing your skills and becoming better as a medic will eventually get really rewarding and satisfying, even more so when you realize you're 1st place of the leader board at the end of your game ! It's valid for every class of the game though, each of them is important, yes, EVEN that bloody spy that keeps focusing you ! :'(
