@bao19642 жыл бұрын
the stabs sounding mushy or stuck is a result of the holee mod, since the tapes make it harder for the stab stems to move around. The best is to stop holee modding altogether, and try wire balancing instead.
@anumnum20122 жыл бұрын
thats what i did
@ricecloud2 жыл бұрын
if you listen to both sound tests, stock and modded, then you can clearly hear that the stabs sounded like that even before the mods. so holee mod has nothing to do with that. also, the spacebar and enter key are both fine with the holee mod.
@anumnum20122 жыл бұрын
@@ricecloud holee = more mush less tick i dont do holee, i already have no tick
@ricecloud2 жыл бұрын
@@anumnum2012 i don't think that you can generalise that statement. It depends on the stems. Besides in this case it still has nothing to do with the mod. However your right that holee mod is not necessary to get rid of ticking, but it might be easier for beginners than wire balancing.
@bao19642 жыл бұрын
@@ricecloud i do agree to your point that it all depends on the housing and stem design and material. However, i do also agree with the generalization that holee mod WITH BANDAID = more mush less ticks. If you however use a thinner material, like teflon strips, it reduces the mush, but then whats the point anyway since it reduce the effectiveness of the holee mod.

You can check the main differences: version 2 has steel plate, whereas yours probably has aluminum plate; v2 has silicone gasket, yours doesn’t; v2 has a different chip: QMK toolbox -> DFU -> tell chip type from there. 저기 죄송한데 force break 모드가 뭔가요... 계속 찾아보는데 영어로된 영상밖에 없어서 힘드네요ㅠㅠㅠ
@ricecloud2 жыл бұрын
i'm sorry, i only can reply in english. the force break mod improves or completely eliminates case ping, which is caused by the reverb of sound/ vibration through the aluminum case
