I bought my 19 new in August I wanted a scat pack as well but they wanted $1100 a month for it my salesman had a 18 RT Daytona he was like look bro you dont need the 6.4 trust me and he started up mine and it sounded so nice I test drove it and its a fun car I still want the 6.4 but Im happy with it and its way cheaper on monthly & insurance payments

@@carguy0389 I was $10K upside down on my trade and I got the best maintenance package you could get so that made the monthly go up so I wasnt in the best position to buy an almost $50K scat pack so I got my RT

Welcome to the mopar world. I've had my hemi for a year and I still love it. I've heard that the best thing for the 5.7 is to get it breathing better, full exhaust is what I'm working on. Either way the charger is kick ass, 4 doors with a powerhouse motor with that Plum Crazy Purple. Good purchase amigo. Enjoy the plum purple R/T. I have no regrets with mine, and look for reasons to go cruising with the Charger. More smiles per gallon than any other car in the price range. BTW also own a lifted 2012 Silverado 2500so you have good taste. Cheers.

I've had mine since 2016, I wanted Plum Crazy but there wasn't any available. Went with GoMango instead. Fully loaded and I've done quite a few upgrades! You should check out R/T LIFE's channel! Lots of great info there. Congratulations on your new car sir! Your fog lights are LED's your headlights unless you have the technology package your headlights are not HID just regular old bulbs.

Dodge makes some really nice colors. It's crazy how much insurance varies from state to state. I'm 20 and my 19 scat cost me 165 a month and I'm looking to shop that number to see if I can get lower.

Glad you like the car so much. I am debating the RT or the 392 myself right now. Common sense says the Hemi, but I don't always listen!! Don't need to carry that added insurance expense though.

Yea I had the same issue last week but I have a mortgage and Bill's so I went with my better judgment and went with the RT... 392 would have been great but $90 more or $250 more for insurance plus the car note was the deciding factor for me.

Bought a 392 2017 in july, insurance was 200 a month and car payment is 565 a month. my insurance did drop to 134 but i have USAA and they tend to give great rates to veterans. Great color on the car tho man!

For all of you saying the insurance is higher on the 392 it is but only by a little bit. I’ve had both the R/T and a scatpack. The scat is 12$ a month higher than the R/T. You must have a few tickets.

Just fyi. You're new to it so I understand lol It is a 392 6.4 scat pack. The hellcat has a 6.2. 😌 And the headlights are about a little over 1k more 😳

Charlie Wilson Be quiet lame! Not everyone wants to waste additional money just for more hp & a few additional performance features/equipment for a car that's utilized for everyday driving. Also with the Scat Pack, gas/oil cost are more expensive than the R/T, plus most of these Scat Packs Challengers & Chargers will be on used car lots in a couple of years because a lot of people won't be able to afford the upkeep & maintenance costs, especially after the warranty is up. *LMAO*

Thank u! I still love it and no issues. Gas mileage is great! I did some mods to the engine and i get 24-28 miles hwy and city 19-23 depending on how i drive it. If I’m in it all the time then 13-16
