To put it in the perspective: In thor ragnarok, we learn that Odin has defeated Surtur. We know this because Thro though Odin killed Surtur, who clearly survived but still lost the fight, badly. Odin also imprisoned Hela. Hela broke Mjonir and took on loki and thor together at once. Even in later fight, she bested thor. And Surtur killed Hela. So the storm breaker was the weapon meant for the guy who is more powerful than Surtur, who is more powerful than Hela, who is more powerful than thor and loki combined. So I'm sorry, but Captain marvel has nothing, and i mean nothing on storm breaker thor

The way thanos could have countered if he knew what was coming was like using mind stone to control thor to call back stormbreaker, or using time stone to warp back time to before thor threw it, not by raw power. Also it is literally stated in the movie that stormbreaker was meant for King of Asgard. And who was the king of asgard when the orders to make stormbreaker were made? Odin. It is also stated that stormbreaker is stronger than Gungnir, which is odin's spear.

Keep in mind that the "Sorcerer Supreme" Agatha was talking about is probably the Ancient one or if the story about the Scarlet witch is way before the ancient one, then it's her predecessor (According to timeline) (During the events of Wandavision, Dr. Strange is not yet the Sorcerer Supreme). The ancient one explicitly said "Strange is meant to be the best of us". So we can't really use that phrase to powerscale Wanda to Strange. She is still a glass canon. Her durability is very poor. Her power is amazing but she is screwed if her enemy can fly, moves faster than her, and has ranged attacks. Thanos was a bad match up for her. Example, if Thor was in the same situation he'd just summon lighting directly at her to escape. Either killing her or making her block, which would leave her open directly.

Dylan Kinan the Bolts of Balthakk *first spell he cast when fighting Thanos* would’ve killed him easily if he hadn’t dodged. Strange rarely uses Offensive spells but when he does they’re incredibly hard hitting and Thanos knew that and dodged.

@@calebking1608 Keen observation, now I ask two things. 1. Does Doctor Strange have the time stone? 2. Based on Agatha's dialogue Wanda's power exceeds that of the sorcerer supreme, and based on the post credit scene Wanda has begun to study now. So with that in mind how would Dr.Strange beat Wanda? Good observation with the "spontaneous creation" catch, however I believe that Wanda has yet to reach her full potential. I'm pretty sure she is just scratching the surface. However I will say this at the moment Stephen does have two ways to effectively stop Wanda but not beat her. 1. Sling ring fall (Like he did with Loki) 2. Mirror Dimension(Battle Field Removal)

If we were to follow your logic then Wanda couldn't be the scarlet witch because they would have had to been alive during the time of the ancient one. The dark-hold is the book of the damned, it tells of the scarlet witch's destiny. Meaning it has knowledge of the future. Not to mention without the time stone Dr.Strange isn't as powerful. If you go back and re-watch Dr.Strange (the movie) most of his feats are accomplished with the time stone. All of Wanda's feats are her own.

Well i think now we all know its Wanda, now shes the Scarlett Witch after the events of WandaVision. Creating own realities, channelling chaos magic and defeating a 100+ year old witch. She holds the power of the mind stone and now had hold of the darkhold, so she can fine tune her chaos magic and start learning. She penetrated ultrons vibranium plating, literally controlled vision’s phasing, held back Thanos with 5 stones whilst destroying the 6th stone, beat Thanos with no stones, made an entire reality where she controlled without even breaking a sweat and that was before she’d unlocked her full strength after fighting Agatha. She’s now confirmed to be stronger than Dr. Strange and the sorcerer supreme. She maybe human, but she can wish the other out of existence in the blink of an eye. Captain Marvel, Thor and Dr. Strange wouldnt be able to help that.
