The Mind Stone is one of six Infinity Stones which Thanos used within the Infinity Gauntlet during his invasion of earth. In today’s video we will be covering the history of the Mind Stone from its creation, to Loki’s scepter, to Ultron, to Vision, and it’s ultimate destruction at the hands of Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch.

That's because its comic accurate color was blue. They changed stone's colors for MCU. And it is a reason why it is easily mistaken for tesseract.

I think the Mind Stone was actively inciting the Avengers and psychically draining Loki because it’s conscious and has a malignant affect on those within a certain vicinity of the stone. That’s probably why Thanos is never seen with the Mind Stone until he has a vessel that can safely contain it. Allowing the Mind Stone into the possession of the Chitauri, and later Loki, would prevent him from suffering the ill effects of the Mind Stone’s attempt to manipulate its bearers. When properly contained or negotiated with it likely calms down and doesn’t attempt to psychically attack anyone, as we see with Vision

Like you totally understood the intentions of creators of the MCU have for the mind stone. Cus in the recent WandaVision episode, it confirmed that the stone did not grant her powers but only awakened something innate in her. It can be viewed that the stone does not necessarily show the future of Wanda (as others claim)but it showed a representation of a “true self” hidden within her. And this ep was uploaded waaay before the ep started. This was very informative and comprehensive even though the vid is short kudos to you man

The Stone did both. It unlocked Wandas potential but also granted her a boost by exposing her to its energy. Thats how she got from a small probability hex to mind-raping Thor and mind-controlling several hundred people in Age of Ultron.

I feel like this is how Vision is resurrected. Since the stone that originally gave him life is what Wanda seems to use for her power. (As shecontrols the mind of an entire town in Wanda vision) it also explains why she was the only one who could destroy it. So it stands to reason she could bring back the stone itself as well

The Mind Stone enhanced and amplified the powers she already had and it gave her mental and reality manipulation abilities. It may be possible that getting hit by the energy wave created when she destroyed the Mind Stone gave her the extra new abilities seen in WandaVision but it could also just be her grief and rage amplifying her powers like Goku and the other Saiyans.

I personally think the mind stone is the most powerful, tho it is very nerfed by the MCU. if you look at it from a real world the mind stone can create a new universe from a single thought and different timelines. Vision is very powerful but is not as creative *watch what if utlron won in disney+* the mind stone can probably make a new stone or erase one as well, The MCU Multiverse was created by the thought of someone and thought comes from the mind which is what the mind stone is all about honestly the mind stone could be the most powerful if a villlan used it to become the new one above all in the MCU. Long story short, Vision has no idea wtf he’s doing with the mind stone which is why he’s weak with it. His beams are deflected by Corvinus and Thanos, Scarlet Witch destroys it even though IT increased her natural abilities, and even Ultron beat Vision up while the stone was in his head because Vision/Jarvis isn’t doesn’t have a clear understanding on his being like Ultron. Ultron on the other hand, built Visions body and put the stone in it knowing what its capabilities after studying the Hydra files which is how he knew it awakened and amplified Wanda and Peters powers. Thor also makes it clear that the mind stone is the strongest of all the stones. Come What If, we see Ultron slice through Thanos like butter because he’s mastered his stone and knows how to overpower Thanos with it. Ultron with the stone was similar to Captain America with mjolnir… kicking ass better than Thor with his own hammer. Similar concept lol

Shuri was working on that and trying to figure it out. The mind stone holds visions personality and sentience, as well as being the energy source that powers him. No mind stone, then we just get an empty vessel of vision, like we see after he dies, and his remains in wandavision.

Not entirely true it doesn’t hold his consciousness and personality, but is instead connected to it. This is why shiru could remove it if given enough time but he would probably lose a lot of the powers he obtained if not all.

She is not in complete control. She only learned that the reality is fake in the midsection of episode 2 because of jimmy woo saying "Wanda can you hear me, over. Wanda, can you hear me? Who is doing this to you Wanda, who is doing this to you" and when a sword agent tries to rescue her she says "no" and warps the reality so the agent never interfered. So in episode 3 when a stork in the drawing "comes to life" and she tried to get rid of it, she is unsuccessful, showing that she is not the one in control but something more powerful... (Mephisto)

When Geraldine got ejected she was covered in energy that looks like what wanda uses, she can literally remind time as referenced by the "no" and also when vision confronts her about the weird stuff going on. I guess it could be mephisto and its backed up in the comics, but I genuinely think it would make the story weaker simply because it could A. Show wanda as an incredibly powerful reality warper rather than essentially a telekinetic. And B. Deal with her grief of losing vision and potentially self actualize another vision OR be shot down by the realization that it's all her own creation. Which could lead to her finding another legit vision in the next doctor strange movie Of course I have no insider information, but I disagree that losing some control of your powers while self pregnant means you aren't in control, when we've seen her rewind time

it was used to influence Loki, In the Hellicarrier it made the Avengers be all hostile. And it may have caused Wanda's deteriorating sanity. Multiverse of MADNESS indeed... awww... Wandas probably gonna die in the next movie. Sad. Bruce is gonna be the only survivor of that stone.

I'm curious, why can't they just time travel at the end of Endgame to when Thanos snaps a second time, instead of snapping away the stones, the avengers take the stones from Thanos and kills him, then snapping the other half back? Even if they want to keep this timeline, just use the mind stone to make Thanos think he destroyed them!

Because Thor was the only one able to kill thanos with all the infinity stones and that’s only when Thor surprised thanos. Chances are thanos with a full infinity gauntlet would probably win against Thor in a one on one battle, especially a fat Thor going through an identity crisis since he wouldn’t have realized that he’s still worthy
