Your reviews are much better than of those who seem to have a bigger subscriber count. Thank you. By the way, I do not care about many of those “requests and requirements” of other commenters. I will mostly use it with my VSTs and organ instruments. I actually do not like the waterfall action of Hammond organs (I returned both XK-1c and XK-4 for this reason). I will use it with a pedalboard. I also have V Collection X and Pigments (after all pipe organ was really a first synthesizer 😊)

Very nice video, thanks a lot! You also point out the issue I don't like about it: Switch to mixer and then be in need to find the correct fader. Just imagine how cool the controller would have heen, if a small display below each fader would precisely indicate the track it is assigned to.

If I buy a 88 mk2 the 88 mk3 will come out tomorrow. I subbed just for that cool chair alone.

Great job on this review. Fine if you’re an Analog Lab user, but for NI Komplete the Kontrol S series still seems to have an advantage with polyphonic aftertouch, bigger display, fatar keybed…..well….i was hoping for slightly more from Arturia.

I think now no company can compete with Native Instruments for the screen size. It is literally huge in Mk3 models!!. Totally agree - Of course, if you already have some Native Instruments products then KK keyboard is a better choice:)

Thanks for the tutorial . . Did you say the Keylab mK3 61 may prove difficult in working with a Drum machine? Sorry' didn't get what you were trying to say .. ? Thank you . .

Hey, congrats it’s a beautiful keyboard! I actually got this keyboard for a few days only because I run some workshops in Poland. I don’t have it anymore in my studio, so cannot check and answer your question:(

@PoloTremolo which one would you recommend between this one and the launchkey mk4 and why , thanks

I ordered the 49 key yesterday. The integration with Ableton and with their own VSTs seems a neat and efficient workflow. I’m a complete newbie amateur and I’m definitely at the “all the gear, no idea” stage, but if I’m going to have a hobby, this might as well be it.

Planuję używać tej klawiatury z garage band. Czy aby grać i jednocześnie używać mikrofonu program będzie widział mikrofon xlr wpięty do jednego z portów usb-c poprzez interface focusrite oraz klawiaturę midi wpiętą innego portu usb-c w mac-u? Czy jednak muszę tę klawiaturę wpiąć do portu midi w interface focusrite? Posiadam scarlett 6i6 2nd gen

Thanks for the comment! I guess there are much better influesncers/filmmakers in our niche, but I am thinking to learn color grading soon;)

Don't get me wrong, if you don't have keylab...it's a no brainer, although I think new novation keyboard ability to sequence directly into Ableton is a killer. For those who have Keylab mk 2 like myself...this is: Same Keybed Same functions Better screen And I hear usable pads (becasue the ones in Mk 2 are so bad, I would punch whoever came up with them in their teeth until they wouldn't have any left).

Does it work with studio one ? Just saw some videos that it’s not full supported, is it worth do buy it and use in studio one ?

Hmm 🤔 there is no dedicated script as for now, maybe check in SO forums? It should work via HUI: support.novationmusic.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360019706040-Launchkey-Studio-One-setup

Might have been - if they hadn't taken away some of the useful things that were in the MK2. But no.

It's very nice but it costs more than twice as much as the Essential and doesn't offer twice as many features. Esta muy bonito pero cuesta mas del doble que el Essential y no ofrece el doble de prestaciones.
@musoneo4 ай бұрын
That is totally true:) But the build quality and the keyboard are premium here. If you play a lot, for example you are a pro keaboardist, you might appretiate. If you just started to learn playing keyboards, Essential will be great choice.

So no mention abot poly multi-touch? How long do we have to wait... Only Korg has it but no endless encoders so it's essentially useless
@pcfirebeats2 ай бұрын
At this price i would expect MIDI 2.0 and polyAT.

No polyphonic aftertouch is really shocking. Stupid omission. I’m out.

No it's not. Arturia builds nice looking controllers but inside it's cheap chinese components. Just ask hundreds of users who have problems with knobs and faders stop working. My Keylab MK2 black paint even started to peel out, leaving debris all over the place. Really nasty. My advice, stay away from Arturia hardware!

No chord mode, no CV and no sequencer. Should be a few hundred dollars cheaper.
@PoloTremolo3 ай бұрын
Yeah, I agree they could have added more sophisticated chord mode, and pre-programmed chord progressions in different genres - but the keyboard itself is a really good one, a pleasure to play and a nice looking piece of furniture 😉. I think they realized many modular oriented artists use other CV keyboards and I intentionally removed that feature.
