I watched several of these and this is the best! I was frustrated trying to follow the others because the doors would never lock and unlock after the eighth cycle like they were supposed to. It was because the other videos left out the step of pressing the door unlock button first!

You might need to try and program it again to see if it works. If you are still having problems you might need to take it to a automotive locksmith for help.

I have tried this probably 100 times. My truck will go into program mode but the fobs womt program to my truck. Ive chamged the batteries in them also. I feel like you have to have the original for this to work.

@@KeyFobsPlus I have don't it step by step. And now it's like it only works when it wants to. Just at random. I programed the fobs to another truck and they work great. It's not the fobs it's something with the truck just don't know where to start.

@@jacobzawhorodny8068 Unfortunately that's outside of our realm, we don't deal with fixing/working on the vehicles themselves, just the fobs. Sounds like you might need to go to a dealer or automotive locksmith.

Great simple video thanks for posting, but I noticed you don't have to touch any buttons on the original fob.. as soon as the truck locks and unlocks after the 8 cycles, you just touch the new fob buttons and it's programmed

Here are written directions for two different processes. Hopefully one of these will work. *** THERE ARE 2 POSSIBLE PROGRAMMING PROCEDURES. *** Procedure #1 Note: Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. Note: Do not depress the brake pedal during procedure. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times within 10 seconds, with the 8th time ending in RUN. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming mode. (Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.) Within 20 seconds press any button on the first keyless remote to be programmed. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming. If you only have one remote then skip to step 4. Within 20 seconds, press any button on the second keyless remote. Door locks will cycle again to confirm programming. Repeat step 3. For all other remotes. Turn ignition to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode. Procedure #2 Note: Obtain all remote transmitters for this vehicle. Fasten seat belts and close all doors. Turn ignition from OFF to RUN 4 times within 6 seconds, with the 4th time ending in RUN. (Off is the position where you can remove your key, RUN is the position just shy of starting your car.) Turn ignition to OFF. Acoustic signal will sound and system warning lamp will illuminate to confirm programming mode. Within 10 seconds, press and hold any button on the first keyless remote. Wait for acoustic sound and warning lamp to flash (confirming programming) then release button on remote. Wait 2 seconds but within 10 seconds repeat step 4. For all other remotes. If you only have one remote then continue to step 5. Turn ignition to Crank or wait 10 seconds to end programming mode.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I'm also affected so here it goes :( I talked to the Ford Dealership and was told that just because you have electric locks/windows doesn't mean you have the keyless entry module. If you have had a fob before you can disregard this message, otherwise the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow was just an illusion I'm afraid. Trust me, I'm just as bummed out.

@@jamesb1988 Yeah my grandpa's truck doesn't have it either. It's a 95 F250. I've tried the key thing twice and nothing. If I press and hold the lock and unlock button on the door itself, it just constantly moves the locks as if the buttons are hot wired to the motors themselves, so a keyless entry wouldn't work anyways.
