I'm a long time fan of Amber, since her 2010 TEDX speech. The reason people want to create things like a smart frig is so that they can conveniently control you and your money. Bananas going bad? We'll buy that for you. you're welcome. Everyone is throwing themselves in front of you to get your attention. I wonder what percent of our time is subconsciously spend looking at and waiting for ads to press the skip button. want to turn on/off the light? Insert your credit card and watch this ad while you wait. Or, Want to use the bathroom? ... Love the idea of seeing water temperature and weather reports.
